In my view, there is nothing wrong with artificial paradises and willful illusion. Most of us are smart enough to be able to distinguish between fantasy and reality. Just like going to a theme park with a rollercoaster won't make you think you are some sort of alpinist, using an AI "girlfriend" for emotional support won't make you a schizophrenic maniac.

Not marrying nor approaching women does protect you from unfair divorces, female-on-male SA and DV, and the like, but it doesn't protect you from everything, sadly. Unfair hiring practices, conscription, circumcision, the gender empathy gap, the gender sentencing gap, etc. can affect all men, including unmarried ones.

I don't think "women first" in disasters is official policy anywhere in the world right now (except in wars, where men are generally hunted down as cannon fodder while women are evacuated and protected, see Ukraine). But yes, it was used historically, e.g. on the Titanic, resulting in many more women than men surviving.

The alt right would not be the the answer here. Actually, surprisingly, the German alt-right (AfD) is the only party that's overtly pro-(male-only) conscription. (Not that other parties are against conscription either, but they push it in more covert ways.)

I don't know where you got this information from but yes, Germany's (sexist) basic law states that all men have to serve while women don't. Migrant status is irrelevant here. This is a men's rights forum, not some far-right platform.

Or... men will fight, if they are prevented from leaving their own country, there are press gangs roaming the streets and kidnapping young men, and men who don't want to fight are beaten up or tortured. Like in Ukraine. Sadly, they have thought of other non-motivational ways to make men fight against their will.

Sadly, they seem to be moving very close to a mandatory male-only draft. As it seems, all men will have to fill out a questionnaire regarding their military ability, and then all men will be required to go through a medical examination (starting in 2027). (All men, but not women, despite Germany's basic law supposedly saying otherwise.) So, basically, men who don't comply will get fined, if not worse. No easy "opting out". I can only hope for mass protests or civil disobedience on massive scales…

Well I think Trump isn't exactly a mens rights activist and I dont think men's problems are really going to be solved just by voting for Trump. There is still a stigma associated with speaking about men's issues. Men may have found a way to vote against the establishment by voting for Trump (well, not exactly, since the gender divide between Trump and Harris wasnt so marked, more than half of white women voted for Trump while almost half of all men voted for Harris) but I dont think it really me…
