As other people have pointed out, this post screams of trolling.

When you take part in a subreddit, follow their rules. If not, you will be banned. That is the nature of Reddit.

Kotaku is part of the Gawker media circle. We do not allow Gawker media links on MensRights. As Kdevlin90 pointed out, I suggest posting the Forbes article.

Saudi Arabia is not a beacon of equality, nor an area where men are generally oppressed in any significant way. This doesn't belong here.

The relation to men's rights is really stretched here. Not everything the SPLC does is related to MR.

a) Quote mining. You took a quote out of context, and are refusing to accept that context. That is quote mining. b) Unsubstantiated claims. See (a). c) No one said you were. Read my statements again and try to understand the point I am getting across. If you are struggling with that, then I can understand why you would struggle with understanding what Paul Elam is saying. The issue would then be, if that is the case, that you struggle to combine multiple ideas in an argument into a single cohere…

r/MensRights is a link aggregation site. We are not an activist group, specifically. People are here to talk about things and read articles/discussions. Posts like that would be unhelpful if this were an official organization. But this is just where people go to shoot-the-shit.
/r/MensRights08/01/13 12:18 PM

You are making unsubstantiated accusations because you are quote mining. You did not see the purpose behind that statement. Feminists want a higher rape conviction rate in order that more rapists are punished. The consequence is a higher false conviction rate (conviction of innocent people). Their argument is that that rate is so small that it doesn't matter - in other words, innocent people going to jail is okay so long as more guilty people go to jail. But I could summarize that by saying "Fem…

Just to note that the mods of /r/MR still don't condone doxxing. We just feel it is unacceptable that we are being treated differently by the admins and held to a different standard. And while it is also very worrisome that people hold discussions about gendercide and infanticide on RadFemHub, I would rather the ideology and website be associated with such statements than outing the individuals. I also feel it would be more effective to do it that way, since outing individuals makes them seem to…

There was a time when VA was on good terms with the admins. During VAgate, he noted that he was concerned about falling out of favour with the admins. He guessed he would be thrown to the lions, and he certainly was.

I think it is very important to note that the Admins allowed THIS link, and a variety of others on the same topic, to remain up. I realize handomemod included the link already, but in case people don't read that far then I want it to be distinguished.

Downvotes are meant to be used when a person doesn't add anything to a conversation. By stating that you believe that you being uncomfortable indicates that something is sexual assault, and therefore criminally punishable, you are not contributing to society. You are taking something fundamental away from it. I think the downvotes speak for themselves.

Sounds like your popularity means you will be needing a personal assistant soon. Didn't you say you were writing a book? Hopefully that takes off and you can hire someone to help with all of that stuff. Good luck with it all and best to you in your discussion with Rogan. :)

We are approving the things you say, but it may take a little while. The bizarre thing is that you seem to have a following that is mass downvoting you. My guess is that this is why you are shadowbanned. The only way to get that many mass downvotes/reports would be with bots.

All of your comments seem to be silly and pointless. If you want to get involved in conversations, please do. But if you want to continue posting this kind of nonsense, then you will be removed. This will be your only warning.

Things have changed slightly since the last time you wrote the rules. Check out the new mod policy regarding doxxing. Quite frankly, the admins changed their stance and so we changed our stance to match. But, as with this situation, they seem to be very hypocritical about enforcing it.

Those are some mighty tough words! Big man on an internet forum. Look, the mods had nothing to do with this. They/we have defended the AVFM account for years, despite complaints that it is blog spam, too much of his own content, etc, and despite the advocacy for things that are against the /r/MR rules. So if you want to act all tough and demand something from the mods, how about you just ask nicely by sending us a message? When you try to act all tough, it is more likely to make us less friendly…

Historically, in cases where the purpose was to raise attention about a serious issue, /r/MensRights has been generally less than concerned about enforcing that general Reddit rule. We are part of an awareness group, and a serious issue like this deserves awareness.

Not that I am complaining, but that is not a place I thought I would see a link to r/MensRights.

We gain approximately 125 subscribers a day (average). So 18000 subscribers would have taken 144 days at that rate. It was likely less, though, since - as EpicJ noted - we have had a few popular posts on other subreddits that resulted in 2000+ subscriptions over a 2-3 day period. And, FYI, this is a meta topic. I am removing it but I highly encourage you to repost in Meta.

Her tweets about feminism/men are topics of men's rights. But that doesn't immediately make everything that she does or happen to her a topic of men's rights. Just like not everything about Obama or Romney is a topic of men's rights, even though they are both involved in policy decisions in the US.

Following the mod policy regarding peripherally related subjects, the format is to post it as a self post arguing for the point and including a link to the article. This is your warning. Going through your history, you have yet to contribute anything to r/MensRights other than attacks. This takes you from a status of just getting into fights with people to being a troll. If you choose to continue this behaviour, you will be removed.

At best, this is a Meta issue. We had some SRS stuff here for a while when they threatened us, but it is time to get back to issues of men's rights. I support your counter SRS proposals, but I do have rules that I agreed to follow as a mod.

Glad to see you guys find it so humorous. There have been multiple allegations that at least one admin is involved with SRS, and there are a variety of screenshots floating around indicating an admin involvement with SRS. So keep laughing about it. If you guys want to clean up Reddit, do it openly. Don't claim to be supporting free speech (and the seedier side of Reddit) but continue to silently close subreddits that are in bad taste but perfectly legal. Don't claim to oppose things that violate…
