The more money you have, the better you are when it comes to asset allocation. This is all a big game of life. Only those that understand the rule and apply it, can get to the very top. I'm not saying nawalt, but when this is related to really smart and wealthy people, take what they say and what they do in public with a grain of salt. They only let you know, what they want you to know. I say I won't be surprised, if this is just a chess move.

You need to understand economy, tax, and compensation system to understand this. I'll do an example. If a couple is in debt, but the debt is only in one person's name... They can do "separation" to protect half of their total asset, because once separated, only one party is liable to it. It's a financial gymnastic.

I think this is planned by both party. Potentially to preserve wealth. I think those 2 are wayyyyyy to smart for this. Maybe this is their way of hedging against the coming crash. Won't be surprised if they continue to share finance going forward.

We just transition out of level 4 lockdown to level 3. Pretty much clear at this point (NZ) I'd say, not much have changed, except more card transaction More unemployment, and more people will now want universal basic income, all that bad things. Basically the world will favor more toward socialism rather than hard working capitalist. Everyone want the same "entitlement" monetary Privacy is subjective, you never really have privacy to begin with.
