True. I just thought it was a somewhat decent way of testing interest. Like how I feel it says something that she stopped watching my stories after I didn't respond to her message in like a day and a half.

What is even the point of this mental masterbatory question?

If you're a shy introvert then saying you're going monk mode is usually just lying to yourself and giving yourself an excuse to not be social or leave your comfort zone. Is it really a smart idea to cut out the one day every 2 weeks or whatever where you actually interact with other humans in a social manner? I do know a lot of naturally high energy extroverts, however, who are actually getting held down by their inability to be alone and the constant social obligations they get themselves into.…

The fact that Facebook doesn't block this feature if your profile says you're in a relationship is criminal.

Thoughts on this? To me, the most interesting feature is: or add Instagram followers to Dating's Secret Crush feature, which allows for indicating crushes among Facebook friends -- and as of Thursday, Instagram followers -- to see if the feelings are mutual. Middle school me would have loved this feature, but maybe adult me could find a use for it as well.

Honest question, wouldn't sorting by 'top of all time' have the same effect?

Everyone has had that tradition though. Your situation isn't really unique. Everyone here was "sired" at one point, or else we literally wouldn't exist haha... Just had to point that out. Also in your post you say that you don't expect love relationships to last the rest of your life, so are you expecting this 19 year old to divorce you?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
