I am by no means defending her running. Just giving another side of the story that the edited body cam doesn’t show. Please watch the full video and a cell phone video that is in the article I linked as well as read their report. You can see that they are already lying just based on those 3 pieces of evidence alone. Tybee cops are absolute assholes, I’ve lived in Savannah for a long time and can say that with absolute certainty. Her running was definitely not the smartest option.

So I listened to the whole thing but the president of the university wasn't in the meeting nor does she agree with what they were saying to the TA. I still don't see a pass that needs to be denied? She is taking the appropriate steps to make the university's position as well as her own known. In that she agrees the TA should not have been targeted or reprimanded for bringing freedom of expression and debate to the tutorial.
