How about you go see a therapist, OP? Sounds like you’ve got a lot of insecurities about your image and that’s gonna be painfully obvious when women talk to you. That’s why you’re not pulling the women you want, not your height.

How true is this? I always hear this but I oftentimes have a tough time fully believing it. I was born without one ear and had it reconstructed with surgery so sometimes I think that may be the reason they're looking.

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the insight. I'll stop wasting my time with these girls and focus on myself and other people.

What would be a good example of a subtle hint? I get the feeling that sometimes they're hinting "I'm not interested but I want to avoid any confrontation" but I've also been told by many close friends that i can be somewhat negative and assume the worst case scenario per se.

Kind of in the same boat but I'd say don't see women as black holes seeking validation. If anything I'd say a good percentage of people on these free dating apps are that way. I wouldn't say message count has too much of a meaning. Unless you've gone over a certain amount in which case then it's probably not happening, homie. I've had ok success in getting a Snapchat add (if their profile doesn't mention it) or their number ASAP. If they're willing to give out personal info it usually means they…

The way OP said it also felt like he was talking down to nearly everyone on this sub. "You're all incels and therefore inferior. Now listen to me because I managed to stumble into this relationship"

I just moved to LA and figured it was just me. I used to live in a smaller town >800k and I'd get a couple matches a week. I'm lucky if I'm getting the same here across three apps. What's the deal?

"I'd just go into a crowded spot so that I'd bump into a girl's butt" not groping but not ok that this is why you're going into the crowded spot. People don't really appreciate having a random dick bump into their ass

You should definitely not do this. This is creepy.

Sheesh. Could you elaborate on the “harsh actions”? I agree that it’s men that put themselves in the friend zone but I would usually say it’s a lost cause once you’ve put yourself there. Take the L and move on.

You do know they have this for those that are in special forces? They have extensive classes and support networks to help them get used to daily civilian life. But this is probably because they've gone through extremely high stress situations and live a life very different from the average person. It's also pretty dumb to just assume that everyone in the military just instantly becomes a bum after leaving. Some of these guys deal with mental illness and an inept VA system that doesn't care for t…

lol why would they need to teach them how to tip at basic? They're literally treated as sub humans and worthless pieces of shit at basic and somehow you think the drill sergeants priority is social interactions when some of these guys are being trained to be efficient killing machines for the next 2-3 years?

Not trying to sound like an asshole but having friends helps. You build a natural rapport with them in an environment that is welcoming and accepting. Little by little you begin expanding outward and just being less introverted and kind of developing your own sense of humor and delivery. I get told quite a bit that my delivery of things is funny because I'll say something ridiculous and not laugh or change expressions afterwards, it's not on purpose it's just kind of how I am at times but I've r…

Shit the teeth one totally fucks me. Never had problems with my teeth but I do have mild fluorosis from when I was a kid.

Somewhat unrelated to OP but how do you guys tell when a girl is checking you out? I've had several friends tell me that so and so was checking me out and I know that I usually don't pick these things up and therefore I'm missing on opportunities that I can capitalize on. Any tips on noticing when girls are checking you out or how to notice?

Yes, but in this case he is still hanging out with this girl in the hopes of "playing basketball" when she wants to play hockey. He's doing a rinse and repeat in hopes that she'll "put out". He's not completely ending the interaction he's still spending time with her and indicating that he wants to spend time with her.

That entire comment felt incredibly manipulative and it sounds entirely like he's trying to pressure her to have sex.

OP, this woman sounds incredibly petty. Why even bother?

Eh that's kind of tricky. Are you going to ask permission from that girl to put a picture of her on this internet seduction sub? I mean the whole putting a picture up of a girl just feels kind of creepy to be honest. Id rather just see the OP's progress.

I feel like the "progress pics" so to speak would be useful. We all understand physical attraction is subjective and can vary from person to person but there are basic qualities that women/men find attractive that are common in people we deem "attractive". So having an actual reference of what someone looks like would help determine how we as the reader might stack up. However I see this as being a very slippery slope. I could see many people just shutting down the OP with comments such as "you'…

I thought I'd chime in here since this is something I dealt with personally recently. I was born with microtia, which is a deformity where the external ear is underdeveloped, essentially leaving me with only one ear. When I was younger I had plastic reconstructive surgery and I have what appears to be something similar to an ear where my right ear is. I wear my hair short, somewhat of an undercut, so it is very noticeable. On top of that in August I had a procedure done to get a bone in hearing …

I'm in engineering and I have come across women that have expressed interest and we have some similar interests. But it's very obvious these women would put you on the back burner until they felt they were ready to commit.

I usually try to stay away from these women in an intimate setting. It's pretty much a lost cause because you're really investing a lot of time for so little return. It's better to find a woman that has found a balance of all of that, in my opinion.

I think what he means is that REALLY driven women do not spend a whole lot of time dating or having a boyfriend because that implies time spent pursuing something other than your career or "passion". He was not implying that you're a "nonsense" person or whatever.

Would you say that you interact regularly with these girls OP? Or that you see them sparingly and at one point earlier in high school you might have interacted more with them? I ask because recently I was in a similar situation. I ran into a former high school classmate who thought "that I hated her in high school" and eventually got an F-close by talking about all of the changes I had brought into my life (thanks r/seduction). So if you don't really see them often or talk often you can really c…
