So you obviously felt something. Did you feel like you were being talked down to by any case? Or do you just hate talking about oil?

Why did you get offended? I'm like genuinely curious to know.

This is how I see it: You know how you use the dipstick to check your car's oil? Same concept. When you ask her out, you're just checking at what the point the oil's at. If it's high, then you're ready to go, if it's low then you must fill it with some oil before your car brakes down. That oil is attraction. When the guy speaks about "Brad Pitt", the attraction (from the girl to the man) is already there. Why? Because he's fucking Brad Pitt. What you just thought about when I asked you why is th…

Yeah, even I would have fallen into the reactive questioning state but I guess it's interesting to us analyze and share our thoughts on this. I also had a feeling that she was really nicely playing along, like she kinda knew but she went along with it anyways. Even with the compliments her reactions were really positive. You could argue that's still investing, but is it valuable though?

I feel like this needed a bit of banter, some teasing, just to get her out of that questions questions questions zone. I also feel like his questions are a reaction to avoiding uncomfortable silence. But real props to the guy having the balls to approach and lead.

Need for Speed movie in a nutshell. Guy doesn't react to most shit she says, she falls in love nonetheless. Good to see there's a real life version of this.

This isn't about being beta, alpha or whatever the fuck. This is about you not knowing how to reply to them in a manner that got them off of you and about you proceeding to make them feel really bad after they admitted they didn't know where they were (subconsciously knowing it could be a risk because of shaming). It's like you were blaming them for putting you in such a situation and feeling like you couldn't get out. It's not their fault. You just were put in a difficult situation. It happens.…

Admitting you're not good at something hurts. Simple as that.

John Cena, a pro wrestler in his 2004 character (when he was actually cool). I love reddit.

It so happens to be when you're behaving contrary to how they want you to behave you're labelled as a insert negative adjective here. Then everyone around them won't believe how much of a person you where all along.

Might seem paranoid but I wanted to throw this out there. Facebook owns Oculus Rift. I remember watching a bible-based apocalyptic movie 10 yrs ago about exactly this, they used these headsets to make people decide whether to have the beast code planted (666) on them or die.

I also believe equal opportunity is there to express your personality and get it over with the same people that will like a girl's facebook photo. Yes, it is a bit harder but I've seeing friends of mine actually getting a ton of likes for just being creative with their posts and being their [insert personality trait here-like cocky+funny, sarcastic, etc] selves. Facebook validation can really get you enthralled if you even look for it.

Being in person to a "Oh, I only got 131 likes" comment is so goddamn infuriating lemme tell you.

Ask her why she thinks so and see for yourself if she's testing or just being honest. React how you feel like. Either way she's investing, and that's good.

Notice how Tom says it while being calm yet still being firm about what he's saying, even though the content of his speech is confrontational. The light smirk just further shows how he believes he's in control of himself and the situation. If you show anger, it will further show how much it phased you.
