In the same boat and it’s only going to get worse. Going to be a huge group of men close to 30 with 0 experience.

Your stance is just too black and white. People have a need for both emotional and physical intimacy and young men have very very few chances to attain those. When they choose to enter a bad relationship it is to satisfy those needs, but in doing so they open themselves up to different problems. They are basically caught between a rock and a hard place of “spend years physically and emotionally isolated” or “have my needs met but take some abuse along with that.” Both are similarly damaging, so …

It’s not that they lack agency, but rather any sort of relationship is almost always their best option. Even if the woman is literally a horrible person, an isolated man will regret not entering a relationship with her for years afterwards. Average men will almost always say yes.

It’s no one’s fault and I don’t know why there’s a need to place blame here. This is such a cold stance… If you’re practically starving for affection there isn’t really a choice in your head. You’re blinded. Even if you might end up in a horrible relationship, you will almost always go through with it just to save yourself from despair.

As an average man you’re getting a match or two a month and no attention from women irl. There’s really just no room to be picky if you want any sort of romantic experience this decade.

Very spot on and it is what it is. Basically just gave up on women and am trying to not become too weird while also trying to meet my personal needs.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
