Same here. I've quite a bit of ink but I wouldn't get a tattoo that I can't cover with a shirt. I've a full sleeve which i always keep covered in work. Summer days can be a pain but it does remind me that I'm on somebody else's time. I walk around in short sleeves on my own time

Wow, that is the most accurate one of those tests i have ever done. I got INFJ the advocate, http://introvertspring.com/the-worlds-rarest-personality-infj-type-decoded/ which apparently less than 1% of the population, have with no less than Mandela and Luther King for company. The description was really accurate for my personality

As far as I can see some women like to keep a gay man on hand like a little doggy and use them to validate their status over men. I would say that you can equally go your own way, you just have different reasons. When chad comes calling you'll also be eating dust

Yep I think alcohol is worse too

What hope is there for me then! But seriously the challenge makes it more interesting. When I was on my holidays I went to a Dutch bar and they could not figure out why I would want to learn it

I like it dude!

Yeah Dutch is tough but I just chip away at it everyday. Yeah I'm studying the languages for the trip but languages are a hobby of mine anyway. Immersion is at the top of my language learning pyramid so it's kind of an infinite loop. I live in Europe. It's easy to move around. No visas, work permit etc

I just read your blog from start to finish. One post really resonated with me where you describe the feeling of endless possibilities, like when you were a kid and there were vacations approaching. This is it for me. I couldn't give that up

that is great work dude. Keep it up

I'm 5"6. You wanna talk about short? I'd say you could be a monster if you hit the weights. You've been given sound advice in this area. But forget about those drugs you were asking about

I also live alone and spend a lot of time studying and learning. I have a season ticket for football and I never miss a game. Every few weeks I go to a rave if there's one on. I don't really have many people I call friends but if I go to a rave or game, I will see people I know there and I'll hang out with them.

1) I'm currently learning Dutch. I go to Amsterdam a couple of times a year and I'm thinking of moving there for good 2) Gym - an hour every day 3) I work in IT, so I spend at least an hour a day (several on weekends) practicing old skills or learning new ones to keep myself sharp 4) Reddit *EDIT formatting

I am quite introverted and by choice do not have a very active social life. My job requires me to be very outgoing and I need downtime by myself to recharge. I also like to work on self development when I have some spare time. I tend to guard my spare time as a result and only really socialise when I want to. I find I enjoy socialising more this way

That was the same for me. My bill reduced by half when I cut the TV. She never would have got rid of it.

yep, kids see, hear and copy everything

Same here man. She's not a bad girl, which made it hard, but I knew she was not for me
/r/MGTOW02/06/15 09:13 PM
1

That's madness. I can live without the television, but I don't want to go without the Internet. I was getting the same package for around 80 euro. Without the tv or phone, I pay 40 euro a month for 120Mbs Internet now
/r/MGTOW02/06/15 09:12 PM

It's not that much here, but it is crap. Same programmes being repeated or just mindless pop culture TV. I just found it a distraction and I can get much more done without it

I see where you're coming from but my mortgage here has not got a whole lot left and it's affordable. If I were to get somewhere else the terms wouldn't be near as favourable as lending conditions are not good. I could let and rent somewhere else but rents have gotten ridiculous too.
/r/MGTOW02/06/15 10:28 AM
1

It's not so bad. A few more years I'll be done and then I have the option of getting a bigger place or be done with mortgages forever. I said it's not much here but I don't need much either. My life is a lot simpler now. Having kids would have certainly meant upgrading and she was expecting this would happen

Thanks man. I hear you.

I'm happy it worked out for you man. I had this feeling I'd dodged a bullet after the initial pain faded. I knew I'd made the right choice

Yes it hurt like hell at first and I wanted to crawl back. But I didn't and those feelings passed. Now a feeling of acceptance of myself and liberation has replaced them

exactly. I think what happens to a lot of guys is they only think outside the box when it's too late

To elaborate, I probably put that wrong originally. I wasn't always MGTOW, but I always had a sense that the marriage/kids thing was not going to be my path in life. I never had a name for it, just a sense of it. I only learnt the philosophy of it when I came here. I had heard of ghosting and that led me here
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 09:37 PM

Exactly

Thanks man. I've talked this over with my folks and I told them how I feel. They are cool with it and only care that I'm happy. My sister is the same. We are all headstrong. It's just that you grow up with all this stuff rammed down your throat, you feel like there is something wrong with not "conforming"
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 09:30 PM

What kind of warped thinking can even come up with that?
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 09:25 PM

I hear you man. At the end I was looking forward to the times when I would be by myself.

I worked my balls off and got my place while I was still on minimum wage. It's not much but I went without food sometimes to get it.

It could have been worse. I know that. Somebody else asked why I am even talking to her. We parted as friends. I made sure it was like this as I didn't want any drama. I won't be making the mistake of letting anyone move in again.
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 09:19 PM

It was more a case of her not being able to say that she had a claim on my house than me paying her way.
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 09:15 PM
2

The funny thing was I never made a big deal out of it because if things went south I didn't want her to be able to say that she paid the mortgage. But still it was just taken as a given
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 07:42 PM
1

I hear you man. I'm not leading her on and I've made it clear we're done. Once she meets somebody else she'll stop
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 07:37 PM
6

She cheated then gave you an ultimatum. That is rich
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 07:26 PM
2

Jesus man you were lucky. Not gonna go there. She's made it clear that she wants kids and marriage and I'm not going down that road. Anything she hands out is going to be a carrot on a stick to get what she wants
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 07:24 PM

it definitely feels that way my friend. At first I was worried I was doing the wrong thing and I would end up lonely. But the truth is I haven't regretted it once and I think I felt more lonely when I was with her.

The more I educate myself here and apply that knowledge in real life, the more I believe this to be true
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 04:22 PM

I never saw it when we were together, but since then the mask has crumbled and in hindsight I see it all clearer now
/r/MGTOW01/06/15 04:19 PM

I couldn't believe how her attitude towards paying changed between the friend and the date. I think it's also the fact that I'm watching for these things now

Thanks man. It's great to know that I may have helped in some way, since I've learned so much since I started browsing here. Funny enough, since she left, I've cut the cable and got rid of the television and starting reading and watching more documentaries. I found this a while back http://documentaryheaven.com/watch-online/. I'll check out /r/documentaries too Onwards and upwards my friend

Thanks man. I knew all this stuff subconsciously before but coming here helped me to put a label on it and understand and develop my thoughts. I finally feel fully confident about what I'm doing and don't give a f**k what society thinks because I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. The best is yet to come for me, I can feel it.

I hear you man. I go to Amsterdam two to three times a year. The rest of the year I work hard and play hard. Not even gonna go there with her

Thanks man. I really feel lucky. A relative who went through a painful divorce said that he knew on his wedding night he had made a mistake and eventually got fleeced. I could see the mask beginning to drop in this situation.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
