Congrats for being mature enough to put your kids' wellbeing above your own personal feelings. Sadly this isn't the case in most situations. I am all for judges ruling in favor of the child. One parent (wether mom or dad) doesn't want to do anything with the child, pay alimony. And that money should be used FOR the kid. I have cases in the family where the dad looks after his son far more than the mother, but she can use the son as leverage for money. And hell no, she uses that money for herself…

At least I don't think it is right to go full force immediately unless you are in danger. I mean punching someone in the head might be a terrible decision. I've seen someone get knocked out, fall awkwardly, and it wasn't pretty. And yes, you shouldn't hit somebody. That's why MMA fighters can continue after getting kicked or kneed in the groin? I would prefer the kid kicking a ball to a shin or a knee by a trained fighter 100 out of a 100 times. Even if I could wear protective gear.
