0	I don't try because I know I'll have nothing in common with the girl. Is there a way around this? If you are human you have an innumerable amount of things in common. Just look at the human genome. I don't know the exact number but its a very high number (around 90 something%?) which every single human has in common. Its the minority percentage, (4 or 5%?) which seperates us (look, attitude, etc.). So it's not that there's nothing they can relate to you about, its you aren't seeing it.
