Men do cardio as well... and 'getting' vs 'staying' in shape, what's the gender distinction here? Anyone who is unfit will be 'getting' in shape if they exercise, and anyone who is already fit will be 'staying' there if they maintain it. I don't think I have equalist sensibilities; your ideas just don't seem reasonable.

Make-up and styling still takes time and effort like exercise. How is learning about cosmetics and regularly applying them on nights out different from learning about gym workouts and regularly doing reps? Both genders work on being sexually satisfied in pretty similar ways (not that workouts or grooming are exclusive to either). Find a sexy person, hope your efforts to seduce them work and hope they know what they're doing in bed. With some luck you get some nice orgasms.

Yeah a character like James Bond would be a better subject for this comic. Batman only got really developed as a character in Dark Knight and beyond where he became somewhat of an anti-hero. Pouty batman is probably not a serious suggestion to appeal to women though.

Yes, I get that. But since this is a hypothetical scenario there is no evidence. She must either mean someone too drunk to consent or not too drunk. It's probably the latter, in which case consent exists, so it's not rape by definition, and there's no conflict.

This seems like a bad way to make your point. Personally it wouldn't make a difference. I would probably receive greater sympathy and assistance anyway from being a disabled veteran. Whether the other guy was at risk or not doesnt enter into it.

Hmm well I guess I disagree that acknowledging what happened to one person can trivialise what happened to another just by using the same word. The word isn't what happened, and doesn't define whether it was morally acceptable.

If you signed away your car while drunk it wouldn't be a valid sale. But we should probably ignore that example and discuss the OP; I'm not clear what she's saying though. Obviously nothing is going to be literally equal to her rape, it was a unique occurrence. So in what way would drunk seduction be equal to raping a 12 year old? I've no idea what type of comparison that might be referring to.

Isn't this like saying "My car being stolen shouldn't be equal to your boat being stolen"? Yeah they're both categorised as theft, but that doesn't mean every instance is equal. Isn't she effectively saying that there are some cases of rape which were not as bad as hers? That doesn't seem like a call she can make, only the person who was raped can do that.

Marriage was also formed around kidnap and rape, again for reasons of wanting to protect the male line, but I assume you wouldn't defend those. And fyi protecting the male line was as much about inheritance of property as furthering ones genes.
