He is RP! We were very happy when we realized that we both read TRP regularly. I don't think it should be easy to lose respect in a relationship, and I do think that if a man goes through a rough time and is at considerably less than his best for a while, the appropriate response is not to start disrespecting him and walk away immediately. I do, however, think there is a point where respect is no longer appropriate. A relationship cannot be entirely supported by one person, and if either partner…

If I have an issue with a decision of his, I tell him, he considers the information, and tells me whether his decision has changed. I then do what he tells me to. He's superior to me in every area besides knitting, I'm very lucky to have found someone so exceptional who wants me to be his :)

I wouldn't really consider my relationship egalitarian. He is vastly superior to me in all respects, I'm extremely lucky. That's what made him so attractive to me, and he calls me a hypergamous cunt quite affectionately whenever I gush over him. Division of labour for us isn't decided by who's better at a particular task, it's decided by his preferences, which is usually me doing all the chores while he does something much more enjoyable. I see a great deal of emphasis in trp on being the type o…

I see what you're saying. I think my statements may have been a little harsh towards middle to lower betas, considering I do come from a position where I feel quite spoiled. I cannot imagine anyone I would find more attractive physically or mentally/emotionally than my fiancé, which I guess has made me forget the more common reality of finding a good match rather than a perfect one. I did mention in an earlier comment that I believe men in general are much better suited to be leaders than women …

Well, it depends, if he's upset about what happened, I reassure him. If he's not, I do nothing. There's no reason to get upset or anything like that. He's human and I still love and trust him, regardless of the occasional mistake. Expecting perfection from anyone is foolish.

If you're going to submit to a man, why wouldn't you want him to be more capable? To be someone you admire and see as superior? Isn't it the smart thing to do as a submissive woman, choosing the best possible man to follow? It seems silly to submit to someone who you think will do a poorer job at managing your life than you do, just because they're male.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/16 01:00 AM

It seems like you're misunderstanding me somewhere. I do not see my submission and deference to my fiancé as something he has to continually earn or something I withdraw as I see fit. I have the same opinion you do when it comes to meeting a man's needs. I was speaking of worthiness as a condition when it comes to entering a relationship. I would not become involved with someone who I didn't trust as a leader and who I didn't see as superior. Where do you think it is that we differ?

And I have explained over and over that in my relationship, my submission is unconditional, but you seem to be unable to understand what I'm saying. Nowhere did I say that if my fiancé changes in some way, that I would refuse to obey him. I said that if he changed so drastically that he wasn't capable of being a trustworthy leader, that I would do everything in my power to rectify the situation and even then may not be able to make myself leave. Perhaps you conceptualize the change I speak of th…

So you don't think that compatibility is an important part of a relationship? We are together in part because we want the same thing out of life, our views on everything are virtually identical. It makes for a very harmonious relationship, would highly recommend choosing a partner who has compatible views and goals. As I have said before, I would not be in a relationship with someone I wasn't compatible with, with someone who wanted drastically different things out of life. Yes, if his entire pe…

Where did I say I don't do that? If I have a concern with a decision he makes, I bring it to his attention, and I do what he tells me to regardless of whether he changes his initial decision. Pretty sure I already went over this in one of my responses. Loving him and wanting us both to be as happy as possible means it is my responsibility to make him aware of any worries I have. If he doesn't think those worries have merit, I trust his judgement. I don't pick and choose which decisions of his I …

I'm confused by your perspective. It's not true submission unless I don't trust my fiancé to make good decisions for us? I would not submit to someone who I didn't see as a good leader, as superior to myself. I would not have entered a relationship with someone who did not have those qualities. Please describe what you feel "unconditional submission" looks like in a relationship such as ours.

If you mean this to apply to my own relationship, my fiancé finds me attractive without makeup and has disdain for women who regularly wear large amounts. He finds the cakeface to be deceptive. He's made me start bulking to put on more muscle, and is still extremely affectionate and proud of my progress, despite me despairing over my newfound lack of flat stomach. As for getting older, although I am concerned about sex diminishing as I age, knowing his personality and how he feels about me makes…

Did you not read where I explained what we would do if I knew more about a subject than he did? Did anything I say there mean "I make the decision because I know better"? Please work on your reading comprehension.

I value honesty over feeling good about myself. I'm not so fragile that I can't handle hearing an honest opinion on my appearance. I don't expect my fiancé to be perfect all the time, he's human, I'm human, none of us are infallible. Making a mistake doesn't diminish my respect for him or make me decide I won't obey him any longer. If who he is changed to such a great degree that I was concerned with his ability to lead us, I would bring that to his attention and we'd go from there.

It was actually a rhetorical question. If you read my reply, I make it fairly clear that I follow my fiancé's will at all times. I'm not going to recommend that anyone unconditionally obey someone who isn't worthy of it. I think that's monumentally stupid. Nowhere did I say that I believe all women should be submissive to all men.

My fiancé and I are both atheists, I'm not particularly interested in what the Bible or the history of "western female submission" have to say. I wanted a relationship where I was 100% submissive and obedient to my husband, I found a man who wanted the same, who I admire, who inspires me to dedicate my life to him, who I trust to lead us both in the right direction. We're acting on our desires, not following some biblical script. I think it's stupid to submit to someone who you can't trust to ma…

If a man wants to feel important he should be worthy of that. If a woman wants to be married to a high quality man she should be worthy of that. No one is entitled to respect, deferment, resources, etc. simply because they exist and have a particular set of genitals. A relationship where a woman is deferring to a man who doesn't know what he's doing will be just as dysfunctional as a relationship with both parties constantly fighting for dominance. How can a woman respect her husband when he's c…

I want to ensure that the decisions made in my life are the best ones, have the best possible results for myself and my loved ones, and I believe my fiancé is better equipped than myself to make those decisions. I chose to be with a man I see as superior, who I trust to make the best decisions for both of us, whose intelligence and drive and emotional control I greatly admire. I trust his judgement completely, and our outlooks on life, our goals, opinions, lifestyles, politics, are virtually ide…

Do you believe the sub is always the one with the power? For example, a couple that doesn't use safewords and refusal to submit to the will of the Dom means the end of the relationship? Surely even in your example when a safeword is part of the dynamic, the two people have at least equal power, as both have the option to refuse a request/order?

It depends a lot on where we live. I've lived in two major Canadian cities, never had more than a learner's permit, got along just fine. If we lived in either of those cities, no driver's license wouldn't be a big deal, public transit is great, parking is scarce, it's not an issue at all. Much different in smaller towns, suburbs, or the USA. I'm emigrating to the USA soon and a car and licence there is 100% necessary, I'll be getting one myself asap. It would be too much of an inconvenience if o…

I'm not sure which point of his you're trying to counter with that article link, but if it's the one on there being no common consensus on what constitutes 'psychological abuse', I'd recommend you look a little more closely at the abstract. It states right there that coming to a common definition of it is a struggle. I'm on mobile, so apologies for the poorly formatted link, but take a look at these "examples of emotional abuse" https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/01/55/61/0155616566378630…

We met online, talked nonstop for 6 weeks before I was able to visit. Planned for 7-10 days, I ended up staying for a month because neither of us wanted me to leave. We never really went through a traditional dating stage, from our conversations before we met in person, it was pretty clear to both of us that we wanted to be together if we had good in-person chemistry. After staying with him for a while, I asked whether we were in a relationship now, so we had that whole conversation. We did have…

Not an asshole as long as he's honest about it. It's up to the girl if she wants to agree to that, and it's her own fault if she gets upset and hurt by the fact he's refusing to commit at that point. Pretending he's interested in a committed relationship and stringing her along is asshole behaviour for sure. Either way, if a girl wants commitment and there's no sign of processing towards that, her best option is to leave the relationship and find someone else to commit to.

I'd be happy. Probably request that his father have a talk with him about how trp has positively impacted his life/our relationship, and discuss how our son could best implement red pill principles in his own life. It would be a relief to know he was less likely to be exploited and taken advantage of by a woman.

Female Conventionally good looking? 10-15ish. Good looking to me, 2-5 (usually closer to 2) 1, fiancé. I'm really particular when it comes to facial aesthetics. Fiancé is the only man I've ever been O___O whoa gorgeous over on first sight. I work 3 food service jobs totalling around 70-80 hours per week, to give some idea of number of people I see in a day.

Why would I pay for what I'm already getting on a regular basis? Humour aside, I wouldn't want a paid sexual encounter. Desire on the part of the man I'm with, a primal urge to take me, use my body, that's a huge part of both arousal and comfort to me. Knowing that was missing/faked would just sorta squick me out and make me really uncomfortable. Also seriously repulsed by the idea of engaging in any sort of casual sex as well, so that's a huge factor.

Are you serious? What world do you live in where the majority or even a sizeable percentage of women need all that bs? Haircut (highlights not even close to necessary): $70 every 2-6 months (I've gone 9 months without one growing out my hair, still looked good and got plenty of male attention). Very short cuts will need more, obviously, but that's individual choice and far from a necessity. Straighteners and blow dryers are a one-time purchase, mine cost <$100 total for both and do just fine. Th…

Or congrats to me for not blaming anyone else for my own issues and realizing that mind reading don't real? Never said women don't have multiple reasons for faking orgasms, my point was that faking an orgasm and then blaming the man you're with for not giving you real ones is stupid. Wasn't there supposed to be this huge movement around women having agency in their own lives? Fem...femi something? Does that not include orgasms for some reason?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/16 08:00 PM
2

Well if the man openly doesn't care whether she gets off, then a woman can choose to accept that or find someone who does care. Faking an orgasm still isn't productive or a positive contribution for either person in that situation. Still her own responsibility to make sure she has an orgasm, if that's important to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/16 06:53 PM

Maybe if women want to have real orgasms, they shouldn't fake them? It's not a man's responsibility to thoroughly investigate every orgasm his partner appears to have to determine whether it's real. It sucks to refuse to take responsibility for making sure your needs are met regardless of the sex of the person you're fucking.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that they probably think that being completely sexually available to their husbands, willing to fulfill all their fantasies, etc., will make their husbands respect them less or view them as less worthy of commitment. Possibly looking back on all their pump and dump encounters and misattributing the "dump" portion of the encounter to the type of sex rather than the ease with which they gave it up.

My current relationship is the only one I've been in, and the relationship dynamic I have (which you can glean more info about from my comments in other threads, but the tl;dr is that I'm the property of my fiance) is the only kind I've ever been interested in. I wouldn't describe it as polyamory, since he has no emotional connection to the other women, and wouldn't associate with them outside of a sexual context. I'm personally 110% monogamous, disgusted by the idea of touching another man, no …

I feel no need for variety. I'm extremely monogamous to the point of not experiencing sexual attraction to anyone besides my fiance. We're both open to including other women in our sexual encounters, as I'm a bit bisexual, but I have no desire to do anything without him present, and the more involved he is, the better. We also have a bit of an unconventional power dynamic in our relationship, and I want to give him everything he wants, doing so makes me happy. I'm not really worried about him fa…

I don't think that the desire for sexual variety rules out any sort of "true love", since physical intimacy doesn't necessitate emotional intimacy. Just speaking from my own experience, my fiancé loves me very much and absolutely adores me as a person, but we have a one-sided open relationship because he craves sexual variety. Him fucking other women doesn't mean that he cares for me any less or has any sort of romantic or even friendly feelings for them, it just means he likes to have some degr…

What characteristics of TRP men are so incompatible with BDSM, in your opinion/experience? What leads to them being "sussed out" or identified as a negative influence in some way?

It's very intimate, makes me feel so safe and loved and cared for. I know it's considered rather extreme by most, but personally, it's what I'm best suited to and exactly what I need in a relationship. Although not everything we do is something I 100% love on the surface (we have a shock collar that's brutal and terrifying and makes me whimper when he pulls it out), I love making my fiancé happy and cementing the fact that I belong to him completely. Suffering for him is a lovely part of that, a…

I do what he says, no boundaries, no limits. We don't have a safe word or anything like that, because the only reason to stop is because he's at risk of physically damaging me and is unaware of it, which I can say in plain terms. If I can't speak, I have ways to get his attention if I feel he may damage me unintentionally. The draw the dynamic has for me is that I am giving up all my power, I'm completely his. I can make requests, but I have no real agency of my own. It's wonderful. We're extrao…

Speaking as a slave/the property of my fiancé, what you said about the sub having all the power is just not true. I have the ability to walk away if I choose to, and to raise any concerns I have, but as long as I am his, what he says and wants goes. It's my job to serve him and fulfill his wishes and abide by his decisions regardless of my own feelings on the matter. He 100% has all the power, and it's all about his desires, not mine.

And you know this how? Seems like someone needs to educate themselves on the concept of "different strokes for different folks" aka personal preferences. Have you heard of cuckolding? Did you pay attention to the other poster's comment about BDSM relationships? Some people enjoy and actively want their SO sleeping with other people.

How is it cheating if both people are aware of and agree to one partner having the freedom to have other sexual partners?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/15 08:26 PM

Yes, everyone who has ever felt lucky to be with their partner, to be the one that person chose to commit to, to be the one the person they love wants to be with, actually felt that way because they were financially dependent on them. Excellent analysis.

If a man is high-value enough, then yes, having him want to commit to you makes you very lucky. Even if he's sexually involved with other women, perhaps especially so, since if that's something he sees as a requirement, it would certainly be easier to sleep around without having to also maintain a committed relationship. The key here though is he needs to be of a high enough value and exceptional enough that having all of his commitment and emotional fidelity is valuable enough to a woman that s…

Probably somewhere between 20% and 70% of your annual income, every month for let's say 18 years, with the agreement that you'll go to jail if the payments stop. Oh, and you can pay for both his and your lawyer fees while he draws the contract negotiations out for 8 months. And, as a special bonus, he gets your house and car. I'd agree to get raped for that sort of deal, too.
