This is a men’s focused sub. Maybe you should go to the two xx sub to complain about misogyny. Tone policing is not something that helps here

People are kind enough to donate their body or body parts to science with the understanding that they will be treated with respect. If this woman doesn’t have the common sense to understand this, then she doesn’t deserve to be a physician

Men were accused of raping co-eds and were not allowed to confront their accuser, hire a lawyer or even present a defense in some cases. Basically a woman can accuse a man of sexual impropriety and the man would have no recourse and get expelled from college There were scads of cases where the man and the woman had both been drinking before sex happened and the man would be accused of rape. Only the man of course. There were lots and lots of false accusations

In my view, same-sex couples were only invited to the marriage malarkey because it was a failing institution, with divorce rates rising among heterosexual couples. Marriage was marketed to same-sex couples as a way of ensuring that we were tamed out of our semi-feral existence of ‘living over the brush’ and having too much fun and freedom. She's out of her goddammed mind. Lesbians and Gays bitched and moaned over and over that they were discriminated against because they could not marry. Nobody …

She did this because she used the disagreement to bring up other grievances (how I wouldn’t listen to her etc., classic stuff) I made a rule in my house, that she only gets to bring grievances up in the moment. None of this piling on shit will be allowed. I'm not interested in hearing about how I did something wrong last month. The wife can bring up one thing. The moment she starts dredging up the past I just tell her that I am not listening and we're done talking. It has worked pretty well for …

Yes, there are some smaller STEM programs that will favour women in admissions but they're not enough to account for the ratio. Are you kidding? There are "Get girls in tech" and "Get girls in stem" everywhere, including when you get into the corporate work world. And nobody bats an eyelash that women are already running laps around men in every field imaginable

I'm going to disagree with you on that. I think even in the cities, the women want the men to be leaders Natural selection doesn't work that fast. It works over hundreds, thousands of years. We have less T because our food, environment and exercise habits are not conducive to good health. This has occurred over less than 100 years

I'm not insulted at all. What I have found is that most women love the assertiveness and get turned on when you succeed in diffusing a potential encounter like that. I have been told that to my face. Why do you think that most women go for men who are traditionally masculine. even your brainiac girls want a man who takes what he wants. This is not about physical size either. It's about assertiveness PS. I didn't edit anything

Way back in the 1980's (IIRC) California came out with these "palimony" laws, where men who didn't marry the woman they were living with got sued for alimony. They had to pay shit loads of alimony and they were not even married. After that I started noticing lots of other unfair things.

In a minor bit of good news....I moved to a new area recently and asked a local cop who hits the gym when I do if they use the Duluth model. He said that they have moved past that and understand that women can be just as violent as men. So they try to act accordingly. They are also not a mandatory arrest jurisdiction, so they do not have to arrest anyone while responding to a DV call. They like to just separate the two parties. Back when I was dating, damn near every single girl I was with, didn't want me to go down on them. Orgasm gap my ass. Those girls wanted me to enjoy myself and by virtue of that, they would enjoy themselves. They would actively tell me they didn't want me to use a vibe on them or go down on them. That is the orgasm gap. We shouldn't have to say it, but apparently we do, orgasm is each person's responsibility. The man isn't responsible for the woman's orgasm

Get out of the house. Have some hobbies, like lifting, that separate you. Encourage your girl to have a hobby to get her out of the house. Even better, have her drive to her parents and take the kids every so often. You stay home to "fix up the house".

They have special rules about the man not being able to be alone with any children, having to be accompanied by a female colleague. Male teachers under intense scrutiny for any "unacceptable personal contact" with students. IE the man cannot under any circumstances touch a student, even if the student bull rushes the man. Not lies. Women cheat most often in the most fertile part of their menstrual cycle (source: The Evolution Of Desire, David M Buss). Somewhere around 40-50% of all people cheat in their relationships. There are nowhere near enough women to do the dirty jobs that men do. In most trades women are less than 10% of the workers. Modern society would be brough to it's knees in a matter of days. No running water, no electricity, no automobiles (we'd run out of gasoline), critical shortages of police and fire. Men make up more than a majority of computer programmers and technicians. Even if they could get electricity, without automation, again, society would grind to a halt.

Typically the standards are lowered so women qualify. And once they are in the role, men will have to do the tasks that require physicality simply because most of the women can’t. Thus the men are doing more dangerous work in the same role, but women want to be paid the same

/r/MensRights06/12/22 12:51 AM

Of course. Why would you hire someone who doesn't want to work as hard? The obvious rebuttal of course is that if women were just as good as men but we only had to pay them 80% of what a man would make, every business would only hire women. They'd get the same amount of work done for 20% less cost. It would be a no brainer.
/r/MensRights03/12/22 07:02 PM
34

It's been well documented that men have more tenure in their jobs, they work longer hours, work more dangerous jobs (and thus are paid more to compensate), hold jobs that require more specialization, are more willing to work overtime at the drop of a hat and bargain more for pay raises. This in general of course. Any given man or any given woman may behave contrary to these stereotypes. But for the overall population, what I have written is very true

Well presumably the fam is not going to find out. So this would be the men fluffing their image to the researchers. It amazes me that this is so confusing to you. They are socially incentivized to under report it.

/r/MensRights24/08/22 09:35 PM
11

It is widely known that men overstate their number and women understate theirs. Both are lies. So this is not about who lies more or less. There is solid reasoning for this. Men are socially rewarded for being sexually adept. Women are socially punished for the same.
/r/MensRights24/08/22 09:22 PM

women are better at keeping infidelity a secret and they won't be truthful to researchers. The stereotype that men overstate their notch count and women understate theirs is a stereotype for a reason.

Being exciting is not that important. Men want youth and beauty and pleasant feminine energy. Maximize whatever looks you have. Don't be fat. Lift weights to be in shape. Be pleasant and inviting to be around.

I was more curious about "don't be afraid to put a little pressure on her". How so and how would you word such pressure?

Love this. My wife and I have been married 35 years, but we just started lifting 6 years ago. Her body is just killer now after the work she's put in. We both look so much better. We were never really fat, but not really muscular and tight. Now it's like a virtuous circle. The better she looks the more I'm into her. The better I look, the more she's into me.

Don't be afraid to put a little pressure on her. Make statements and avoid asking questions. Decisive and concise. I think I like this idea. Are you hoping to change her mind? What wording would you use to implement this?

I was like you as well. Lowish T but really high sex drive. But generally, a low drive is one of several symptoms that would make a man want to have his T levels checked. New feelings of fatigue, lack of muscle growth (if working out), flat mood, indecisiveness, and low sex drive. These are all symptoms that would lead you to suspect low T. All too often doctors will script you an antidepressant and send you on your way. Many times it's not depression, it's low T

I just disagree with you that this lifestyle is not accessible to most people. It is (almost always) a matter of choices and priorities. That's a fair comment. I agree that it is possible to achieve that life w/ careful planning. The problem I see with it is that you have no room to save for retirement. At $60K/year there is nothing left over to fund a 401K or IRA. At some point you are going to want to stop working. Will you have enough to retire on? There is no room for accidental disability. …

Recently I’ve come across a lot of discussion around how men marry who’s convenient rather than who they love the most. Most men do not have a whole cornucopia of women to choose from. Rather they are lucky to get a girlfriend every so often. If she's not too disagreeable and is open to sex then this often becomes the girl they marry. Some men are starved for choice and marry her even if she is disagreeable and not open to much sex. The top 10-20% of men would be the ones who have this choice of…

Divorce isn't supposed to be some kind of lottery ticket. $750M is way out of line. I don't care how rich the guy is. How is it that she deserves $750M? These kinds of divorce judgements set up more incentives for divorces. Why should a woman stay married when she can dump the dude and take him for millions. Why should a man pay alimony to a woman who cheated? That's just wrong on so many levels. Sure she should get some alimony. But $750M?? GTFO

You are most certainly reasonable here. Read up on "mental point of origin" in the sidebar. The gist of it is, put yourself first in any dealings with other people. In this case, your GF's GNO is bothering you. You feel it and therefore it is valid. And don't let her give you crap about being "controlling". You're not controlling anything. You are just telling her that you have a preference.
/r/askMRP15/11/21 11:18 PM

Short term: you gotta let her know that GNO's at the bar are not OK with you. "Look, you can do whatever you want, but I won't have a relationship with a girl that does GNO at a bar as if she were single. You can either go to the bars or you can have me. It's your choice". My hunch is that she thought you'd be OK with her going out if she gave you the play by play during the night. Long term: get your shit together so that you would be confident that you could replace her at the drop of a hat.

Bill Burr the comedian had a funny bit about this. I don't have a link, sorry. The gist was that he found it hard to believe that the female DV victims were just sitting around minding their own business when, out of nowhere, the man just whops her upside the head. There's only one sub that doesn't follow double standard in matters like these, r/deadbedrooms . Atleast there's progress somewhere. If you read enough of the posts on that sub, you will find that the same pattern holds true. Men's problems are swept under the rug and the women have lots of concern thrown their way over their problems.

which also makes her want to stay in shape to look good for you. Funny story. About 5 years into the marriage, she complained that I drank too much. I said "fine, I'll quit drinking if you get down to your wedding weight". She lost 15#. I quit drinking. And we've kept it like that for years now.

No regrets. My wife lifts weights w/ me 6 days a week and weighs 120 Lbs. She knows I'm picky about how she looks. She and I both like sex. The secret? My wife REALLY wanted to marry me and looked up to me. I think too many men are trying to convince the woman to marry. It has to be the other way around. The woman has to think that he is the prize. Cuzz women initiate 75%-ish of divorces. As soon as she's out of love it's over. Then after you get married, you have to keep trying to better yourse…

I got lucky. No prenup. Been married for 34 years. My wife ended up making as much money as me in her career. We never divorced. But if we had she was never going to get much from me, since she had an equivalent career as me.

Keep in mind this only works if your financially stable enough to allow her to be a stay at home mom and raise kids. Oh lord no. This is precisely the situation where men get divorce raped the most. Yes my friend. It is next to impossible to turn something like this around. She knows that she has all the power. You are better off seeking someone new. She's just not worth the effort at this point. Work on yourself. Follow the sidebar. If you implement it your next GF will be much more likely to act right.
/r/askMRP22/06/21 01:00 PM

How do you know that from a shallow post i made? Because we have seen many stories that are just like yours. We know how they turn out. Sure you can try turning things around, but you will always be trying to frame your actions in such a way to please her. Which means that you are putting her as the judge and jury of your actions. She will not be attracted to a man that lets her be in that position. You are in her frame and playing by her rules. MRP101 is that she needs to be in your frame.
/r/askMRP22/06/21 12:09 AM

/r/Divorce_Men07/06/21 02:25 AM

Ugh. I'm sorry you have to go thru all that. But if that weren't bad enough, I just cannot fathom how you are responsible for paying 72k/yr to a full grown adult. What logic can they use to put that burden on you. Why can't she support herself like any normal person? Crazy.
/r/Divorce_Men07/06/21 02:02 AM

Then you can drop the 3 or 6 month rule. After that, if she likes you by the end of the date, she'll view you as a challenge and she will chase you. Yeah but then you still have to abide by the 3-6 month rule that you put forth. There's no way I'm gonna be able to wait that long for sex. It's such a long time. I can get behind 1 month maybe. But 3-6?

women are more reliant on men and pick men based on money and status, to provide extra security. What century are you living in? Women in the west today are graduating college at higher rates than men and are earning more money than men these days. There are more female 1st line and middle managers than men. Women are increasingly obligated to pay child support to the men now.

I might be abnormal. But carnivore lowered my ferritin and iron levels. I've been carnivore for 2 years now. My ferritin started out at 124. It is now down to 82. From what I have read, you want ferritin to be under 100 for longevity. So I am fine with where I'm at.

Good luck gaining weight on carnivore. I eat that way due to digestive issues, which it does help. But it is just impossible for me to put on any extra weight while eating carnivore. Multiple studies showed eggs will kill you. Multiple studies showed that margarine (AKA trans fats) were better than butter. Both are not true. OK Mr. Science. Studies also show that less than 50% of study results are able to be duplicated upon retesting. Is this one of the studies whose results will not be able to be recreated? Let's face it. People who do studies have personal agendas. This makes the studies worth less than the paper they are printed on. That's even ignoring the problem that most studies aren't designed to prove what they say the are trying to prove. For example, we were told for years that we should not be eating egg…

"I'm going to accuse you of X" knowing that someone could fly off and attack them for that That's a sticky wicket isn't it. So for example, someone accuses me of rape, knowing that her brother would attack me for that? In a case like that, the woman would be guilty of filing a false police report if she did report it. She could be guilty of libel (I think that is the name for this). The brother would be guilty if he attacked me. But if nobody physically touches me then no it is not violence.
/r/MensRights11/02/21 05:10 AM
3

Yeah I'm not on board with that. I don't care what you say to me. If you are not touching me or threatening me with physical violence it is not violence. We are going down a slippery slope when we start saying "he/she made me feel afraid and therefore committed violence".

I will say any period in my life where I wasnt watching porn, my sex life got way better. Performed better, felt better, was more "in it" if that makes sense. Also very fair. That's fair. Although to be honest, no matter how much I try, I will probably never understand why some people are so against occasional porn. It's everywhere. Even if you never look at pornhub, there's soft porn on TV. Even if you don't look at that, it's on Reddit. If you don't look at that it's on Instagram. What was your wife's rationale for you trying to avoid it?

If she's doing it now, then you've got to make a boundary and tell her to knock it off. As long as she's not actually fucking anyone else then you can try to get her to stop sending nudes. If she's fucking someone else then you have to kick her to the curb.

Do some reading in r/Deadbedrooms. You will see that a longer vetting time works wonders. Besides what's your hurry to get married. If she's into you she'll wait. But if you wanna wife her up after a year, go right ahead. Let me know how it works out. In any event, 4 years worked well for me. I've been married for decades and things are good at my place.

About four years after my divorce I (43m) met a woman (40) and after a year of dating we started talking about marriage Dude, you have to vet these women for WAY LONGER than a year. I wouldn't be marrying anyone without dating her for 3-4 years first. Anyone can hide the crazy for a year or two.

A lot of the most successful guys work all the time. They literally have no time for the gym. Whereas the men who have a more even work/life balance probably are not the most successful (if we are measuring by money anyway). I know a handful of successful men that were athletes in high school and college and used the gym all the time. But when they got into the work world simply had no time for it. But then when they retired, they got back into the gym and got back in shape.

Not necessarily. The stimulants increase dopamine and other neurotransmitters that can increase your heat output. It's most likely just your prescription working its magic.

To use your underarm as a gauge for thyroid health you need to use a good quality thermometer. You take your underarm temp AS SOON AS YOU WAKE UP in the morning. Once you are up and around the test is not valid. If your temps are low then it might indicate suboptimal thyroid function. You could get an official thyroid blood panel then for more info. Normal temp is 98.6F. If you are registering, let's say 96.something consistently then you might have thyroid issues. The underarm test is a very cr…

Full disclosure: I'm not a woman. For women in their 20's, realize that your 30's are going to be here sooner than you think. Don't waste time dating a man that you know you will never want to marry. He is tying up your mental capacity to find someone you will want to marry. I've seen too many good women date men they won't commit to, just so they are not alone. I very much agree that many churches have been feminizing themselves over time. My wife goes regularly. I hate it. If you were having a 30 minute conversation that wasn't going anywhere and after you leave, guy 2 comes in and he is making his intent clear to the girl, yeah you might get blown off by the girl. You have to be escalating the situation w/ the girl or she will think you are just a friendly dude.

I have seen it used two ways: A woman who simply aged up in an ungraceful way. Or the woman who rode the cock carousel in her 20's and in her 30's, as her looks fade, wants to bag a chump to wife her up. There is another factor to consider. It is said that you cannot avoid the wall. But you certainly have a lot of control over how hard the collision is.

Under the threat of divorce, the spouse pulls out all the stops to try to save the marriage.... for a while. Then reverts back to the way they were before the divorce threat. If it…

From what you describe, your father is an extremely introverted person. Many social interactions make him tired and they are difficult for him to do. It can be deceiving. He may do them well, but they are exhausting for him. And he avoids them. Did your father provide for you? Did he love you? These are not small things and you should not take them for granted. My question is: why are opinionated or argumentative women despised? And again - what I mean when I say argumentative is having a spirited debate with facts; not just empty opinion thumping. I’m not looking to “win” a debate; but there has to be something for having a conversation, or an intellectual discussion with some persuasion? Depends on how it is said. Debating with facts is great. But when anyone, male or female starts raising their voice and getting animated, it gets tense. See the thin…

Women have to tend to the relationship. Most men simply don't have the skill to do so. Women are the more verbally adept sex. Thus the job falls to women to smooth over the disagreements. It is in your natural ability and desire to do so. This is good. You should not feel bad about this. BUT.... you should only be involved in relationships that are worth tending and worth fixing. The only time it is beneficial to express emotions to your female SO, is when your emotions are manly emotions. Maybe you get pissed off because someone threatened your SO or did something against her. Or maybe someone did something evil against your family. Expressing anger and feelings of revenge is all good in these cases. But you are on thin ice if you start emoting about depression, anxiety or feelings of inadequacy.

Testosterone and it's actions in the body are much more complicated than a simple level on a blood test. You could have high SHBG which reduces the usability of your T. Your receptors could be down regulated in your system so that your body cannot access the T. You could have too high of Estrogen. Normal range means 300-900. If you have 300 you are in the normal range, but 300 is normal for an 80 year old. Not a young man. ETC ETC. Bottom line is: testosterone is hugely important. Your personal …

I honestly feel the same on keto as I do higher carb. Sadly, I haven't experienced any magic w/ keto, except for better blood sugar control. Despite being 8% body fat, I still have glucose control issues. So I pretty much have to do keto or low carb.

Yeah, see what happens w/ the caveman. At some point you should consider asking her what she prefers. If she's like my wife, then you can pound away and not feel the slightest bit of guilt

All around excellent answer. That sounds like a tremendous amount of work.

I gave up worrying about my wife's orgasms a long time ago. My wife is so much happier this way. Back when I was always wanting to make sure she came, she hated it. She ended up telling me it put too much pressure on her. I get all the sex I want now. And my wife enjoys giving me pleasure. Maybe your wife is like mine and would rather see you sexually happy than experience it for herself. I would have a talk with her about it. I love it this way. We can have a quicky whenever I want one. I never…

I'm impressed that you are pressing ahead with the lifting and self improvement, despite being in physical pain. Pain makes everything difficult.

Yes you can bulk on keto. It may take you a while to adapt. It took me 6 months to get fully adapted to where I felt as energetic as before. But I was still able to add strength during that time.

Does your wife work? This sounds like the classic setup where the wife is stay at home, wants kids, then ends up divorce raping the guy in court when she gets bored with it all.

I'm about your age, married 31 years. Post menopausal wife. What I have found is that the better I get at adopting attractive red pill behavior, the better my wife behaves. I am getting the best sex ever. The lesson for you is that the menopause is irrelevant. Get your shit together and your wife will start acting better. You've got to set some expectations and set some boundaries as well. Good luck. Keep working at it and don't get discouraged. These things take time.

Yes, and if your dad has to make a choice between your opinion and her opinion, he will have to side with his wife and not you. It's just the way marriage works. The parents always have to stick together.

You probably didn't look butthurt. From what you have written, you STFU and just left to cut the grass. (you have shit to do after all). Your wife is the one who framed you as looking butthurt. This is a common female tactic to try to frame your behavior. However, you could have addressed her tone at that time. Best to keep it short and simple. " I don't appreciate you speaking to me that way".

I've read it. The book does not give practical advice. He could read it and still wouldn't know what to do about his wife in this situ

Back in the day I would never ask my wife to do anything for me. Since I don't like to be imposed upon, I thought I shouldn't impose upon my wife. Well it turns out that women aren't like that. I started asking my wife to do little stuff for me. Go to the drugstore and pick up something. Cook me a certain meal for dinner. Little things like that. After a while she started asking me if there were things that she could be doing for me. The more things I gave her to do, the more she wanted to do fo…

There is NO WAY I can go 90 days without release. I would not be able to focus on anything except how full my balls are. Even a week is too much. I'm sure it would make me do more approaches though.
