> I know that there's the term, compulsory heterosexuality. I agree that there is pressure to couple up with men, and propaganda which idealizes heterosexual romance. Theres so many media, movies, and songs about this. It might be propaganda. It might be that these are things women generally want, and pop culture reflects and caters to this want. Independent/amateur female artists make art about men and (straight) romance all the time, without corporate backers or the powers that be or whatever …

You can just tell. Is she touching a lot or just once, is she saying something flirty at the same time, is her touch lingering or just a quick tap, is she giving you THAT look while she does it. You know when you know.

Probably not at all, or just barely. Schizophrenia is still rare (fortunately). I feel terrible for those struggling with it of course.

I disagree that prostitution is just like any other form of work, but that’s a separate debate. But I can’t imagine having sex knowing that it was ’work’ to the woman I was in bed with. Sex for me is about mutual desire, passion, excitement, all of it. The idea of sleeping with a woman who isn’t attracted to me and is only doing it because she needs to make some cash sounds depressing and humiliating. There’s more dignity in being a lifelong virgin than there is in purchasing sex.

I’m a man and here’s the truth: if you have to pay for it, she doesn’t actually want to do it. I don‘t understand why any man would want to have sex like that. If women didn’t want to sleep with me for who I was I’d just go without. I wouldn’t enjoy the sex knowing she didn’t want to be there.

I like the idea of having a strictly platonic friendship with a woman but in real life they’ve always ended up wanting more. Sometimes I feel the same way and sometimes I don’t, but it always happens.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
