My point is that neither of us has context. So everyone on here assuming bad things is dumb. The context does matter because the context is literally the reason behind the language of the sign. So reading the language without the context and assuming it's bad doesnt work out. It's just a way of shitting on a random stranger because people dont have anything better to do.

There are lots of non crazy contexts that make this seem completely fine. I notice a lot of women in the background who are wearing hijabs. What if it's a womens empowerment march with a focus on professional women in a generally sexist country. We dont have the full context. And the question is why would you assume the person in the picture is a bad person who is trying to look like a douche. Yet so many comments are straight up mean and assuming the worst. I assume she is probably a nice perso…

On one hand we have an out of context picture. On the other hand we have a bunch of people circle jerking on the internet about how an out of context picture definitely means the subject is a douche. Hard choice.

I am more likely to believe the rando who lived the situation over a rando who only was a small picture of a sign about the situation yes.

"Andoctorate" autocorrects to "an doctorate". N is close to the space button, genius.

Wow, a mistyped word on a broken phone. That definitely makes me dumb and you smart. Good job. I bet your parents are proud. Also "andoctorate" autocorrects to "an doctorate".

If the woman in the picture deemed the situation as inappropriate, I'm likely to believe her over some rando from the internet.

Are you suggesting that a doctorate in any subject is easy or not an accomplishment?

Here is the definition from google. academic subjects such as literature, philosophy, mathematics, and social and physical sciences as distinct from professional and technical subjects. So basically anything that isnt directly professional or technical. By this definition something could be both STEM and liberal arts.

To her it was probably a moment when an ex treated her as an object with 1 of 2 primary descriptors, single or taken. By replying doctor she is asserting that the sum of the last 10 years of her life isn't defined by her relationship status. Just because it's possible to take a picture in a bad way, doesnt mean that bad way is true. It's likely she is a good person sharing an experience that relates to particular thing she made this sign for.

Anti-fa may or may not be feminists in the same way Elliot Rodger was a Men's Rights activist. I am not saying the crazies don't exist and aren't in the group. I am only saying its not representative of the entire movement or even the majority.

I mean youre taking crazy individuals and using their interactions to paint everyone associated with them as crazy. You can do that with any group. The reason why mainstream feminism seems crazy to you is because your only exposure to it is through people posting extreme stuff. There are plenty of feminists out there who you dont even realize their femenists because they just act like normal people.

Why tone it down if it gets posted to a sub like this and upvoted like crazy? Its clearly riling up an entire group of people. The people reading and upvoting are happy to show how this post is clearly(/s) representative of mainstream feminism and society.

So you let him threaten genital mutilation. If he tries it on his own, let him see how far he gets before he backs out and realizes he's being stupid. You don't just give in to the whims of a child because he makes some threat, what shitty parenting. Youre definitely right. If only there were some doctors who could help sort this medical situation out. Also here are numbers. 3 in 1000 are trans. 17 in 1000 are gay If we assume that gay relationships/parents also make up 17 in 1000 relationships/…

Did you read the article? The parents arent forcing. The kid threatened genital mutilation and has seen psychologists. Im not going to pretend im an expert and can say what should or should not be happening. But I also know that you aren't an expert and didnt even read the article. You have to have some trust that the doctors involved in this know what the fuck theyre doing.

Hopefully no one has called you a misogynist because that would be very inaccurate. </s> original comment for prosperity Nope, it's genuine. Look at the WHORDES of women responding this way.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
