The growth and prestige of the field, along with successful, concerted efforts to encourage more females to enter STEM fields are yielding a more balanced workforce. Half of our engineers at my place of employment are female. We work well together. They are good colleagues and friends, and they've requested nor required any special treatment or segregated groups to do their jobs or for us to get along as well as with any of my male peers. 3	Judge refuses sentence for married woman who slept with both her daughters' boyfriends \| Perfect illustration of the gender sentencing gap. Oh, there's still a bit of outrage available here. Judges, 9 time out of 10, rubber-stamp the Prosecutor's sentencing recommendations. The Prosecutor was willing to forego his responsibility to prosecute and go for a tough sentence, and had the Judge not outright refused to go along with it, it would have been so.
