Your argument was that a Jeep is an equivalent replacement for a motorcycle. I'm saying that argument couldn't be more invalid.

It is pretty simple, really. Somebody wants to fly a jetfighter and you offer them a sailboat. You think that just because a giant hulking solid-axle SUV has no doors, its a great substitute for lining up an apex, and powering through a corner at a 45-degree angle on a vehicle that shares more in common dynamically with an aircraft than anything else. To suggest it is to fundamentally miss the point of what makes motorcycles so compelling. Don't be upset that we don't value your opinion on a top…

I don't even care about the image or luxury or anything, to me its all about performance. If you don't enjoy the activity of driving, then yeah, it makes no sense. But if you do, the difference between a normal commuter car and a sports car is drastic. I'm a C7 Corvette with manual transmission guy.

You're not wrong. There's a huge wide range of personalities that do this kind of thing. The type you're talking about is why I don't do it much anymore. I wear a helmet though, so its not "me" thats there getting any credit. As far as the kids are concerned, its Darth Vader. There's a big difference in being a helmeted/masked character vs having an open face costume. Here's an example one, made a house call to visit this brain cancer kid and bring xmas presents. In general though, the kids real…

You're right, I don't give half a fuck about your culture. That's besides the point. I'm saying for the guy in the original post, he's in a bullshit situation with a wife who is just leaching off of him. He's got two choices. Either suck it up and deal with it, or take control of your life and make a change. But if you stay because of what "1000s of years of culture dictate" and what 60+ year olds may think, let's just drop any pretense that you're going your own way. It's either what you want w…

Whatever dude. The whole point of MGTOW is going your own way. Quite literally breaking from from the societal expectations on you, and doing with your life what YOU want to do. Living your life unhappy because you're bound to what other people think you should do is exactly what this is. If you can't even agree on that much, you're straight up in the wrong sub.

Anymore I don't do either. I wouldn't say I'm full monk. Payoff just isn't worth the effort, and I've got better things to spend my free time doing than chasing thots. Cars and motorcycles to play with, a side business to run in addition to my corporate job, plus my friends and the normal stuff.

That's really a whole topic that men have literally written books and books about. I highly recommend checking out The Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi. It's even on Audible if you want to listen to it while you drive. EVERYTHING about women will make sense after you read/listen to that. Essentially a shit test is used by women to determine one, or a combination of these factors: a.) Confidence – first and foremost b.) Options – is this guy really into me because I’m ‘special’ or am I his only opt…

Dude, there's always a bigger fish. The most valuable trick is to learn to just be happy and enjoy what you have. I think that's the real message of this sub. That's not to say you shouldn't have a goal, though. You absolutely should, and go knock it out. But I'm over the moon with the toys that I have now. I've owned two 1098's (first one got hit parked in a parking lot) and a 1098 Streetfighter. The first year 1098 in 07 had a problem with a weak radiator that could spring a leak, but there was a replacement for it that the later bikes had. Other than that, honestly they are good bikes. The 1198 has some later refinements too, but honestly I think the 1098 has way more of that visceral nastiness.

Yeah, there are pretty decent sized cargo compartments behind each seat. No prob to put a full-face moto helmet in each one, with room to spare. There is also a set of luggage you can buy called the 'overnight luggage' which fits perfectly in them. Already ordered them. I had a Miata for a daily driver for 5 years and loved it. You'd seriously flip over this thing. As far as reliability goes, its a common GM Ecotec motor, basically the same drivetrain that was in the Pontiace Solstice/Saturn Sky…

If you go with something upright, you can go either way. I'd look at something like the Yamaha FZ07 or the Kawasaki Ninja 650, or the Suzuki SV650 you can probably get a deal on. If you go cruiser, I can't really help much.
/r/MGTOW19/12/18 12:33 AM

Ooh, thats hard to say. Really depends on what you're looking for. Sport vs cruiser, whether you have a budget in mind, whether its your first bike or not. This is my 17th bike in my riding career, love trying new things.

Make sure you test ride both. They are very, very different machines. Speed is more of a power cruiser, not really as much of a sportbike as you might think. Tuono is a straight up superbike with flat bars. Just depends what you want.

Yep, its a Bursig, and I love it. I used to have a smattering of all kinds of Pit Bull stands, but they still aren't as good. Can't unload the suspension. The Bursig is as easy as it looks in their videos. When I had 3 cars in the garage (pre-MGTOW), i could keep my bike in between two of the cars easy, because I could roll it sideways when I needed. They seem expensive, but then again, once you have a collection of Pit Bulls, you could have just gone Bursig and been done. Depending on how many …

If you mean supersport, yeah, not a good idea. It's not all about sheer CC's. Most supersports are inline 4-cylinders, and they rev from idle to 10k rpm in a fraction of a second with just a quick throttle blip. They also have huge dual-disc brakes in the front. I can do a stoppie with one finger of pressure on my front brake. Then take a look at the rake (angle) of the forks, which are almost vertical, the low short bars with relatively little leverage, and the general top-heaviness of a supers…

Sure thing, always love to help new riders. One thing to think about, lots of people in your life will probably try to dissuade you from riding, saying its too dangerous and all that. Yes, bikes are inherently dangerous. But to be honest, there's a TON you can to mitigate the risks. If you're in the US, go sign up for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) course. It's a weekend thing where you can actually learn to ride using their bikes. In many states, completing the MSF means you don't have to do any tests at the DMV, and many insurance carriers give you a discount. MSF assumes that you've never touched or seen a motorcycle in your life, its exactly what you're looking for. https://www.msf-usa.org/

That's not the same thing in any way, shape, or form. With the random guy that breaks into your house, you don't really have a motive to make a false accusation and destroy his life. This is one political party blocking a supreme court nomination of the opposing party. There very well would be a motive here to make a false accusation. Is she lying? I'm not saying that.
