If you want the marriage to continue, both of you need to see a therapist.

38yo woman avoids jail for raping 15yo boy because she was lonely. 38yo man avoids jail for raping 15yo girl because he was lonely. 38yo woman avoids jail for raping 15yo girl because she was lonely. 38yo man avoids jail for raping 15yo boy because he was lonely. 38yo person avoids jail for raping 15yo person because they were lonely. You know, all of the variations suck.

It's a tricky issue. Let see, if we introduce segregation based on gender either we need seperated pools (and staffing) or times. Next will be a case of mum not being able to take the boys or dad not being able to take the girls swimming.

but she'd been there for 9 years in safety. I agree, go with geting to know the girl first and building a relationship that way. I can't see it being a happy ending, being pulled from her 'family' and friends so there will be a lot of resentment over that.

I'm sorry that was your experience, there are decent people here. Unfortunately there appears to be a bogan culture developing.. its like people are retrograding back to the neaderthal time line at times. I grew up in a area thats blue collar mining and typically white. If you didn't drink to get smashed, weren't into cars or footy, then you didnt fit in. Its surprising now to see multicultural relationships happening there :)

Its definitely not the norm where I am, but we're a country the size of mainland US. Them being drunk didn't help, but i'm sure their facebook/twitter accounts are melting from the outrage because the guy is basically blind. Its been all over the tv news and now the big question will be: what punishment do they get? Also not happy about the lack of compassion/assistance. I'd like to think I would have done something if I had been there but I don't know. Does anyone get involved now?

I'm from outside the US. I don't understand why rape/sexual assaults are even touched by colleges. Surely it would be a case of call the police and let them investigate. Why do hearing boards exist?

Have you used the school library? They can/should help with sources of authoritative information. (librarian here) Dont use DV, use Domestic Violence in your slide headers Typically I have 3 lines (of roughly 5 words) for text on a slide. [maybe its an australian thing] Sources typically go at the end.[maybe its an australian thing] big point, work out the flow of the presentation. this seems disjointed

Can someone explain why universities have these tribunals when the crime itself should be a matter for the police. I don't understand how the tribunals came about or once the crime has been reported to the university, why police are not being notified immediately for them to handle it?

a) have a look at the library's collection development policy. [should be on the website or available if you ask] b) Request the titles for purchase (in order to fill gaps in the collection)

The female of [some] animal / insect species dispute their claim. Lioness do the hunting in packs, female praying mantis rips the males head off after sex.. Why should female humans be all that different?

go to your doctor and get tested asap. STI tests take about a week to get back but the hiv (aids) test will take longer because it takes about 3 months to show up to begin with. be honest with this other girl your interested in before you have sex.. hell id be paranoid tell her before you kiss her. if you have picked something up and then pass it onto her i think you will really be up the crapper.

I'm sorry I don't drink tea. I believe in equality and at work where there is an expectancy (code of conduct) of equality; a training event happened specifically for women. It was a generic business training event. Naturally I wanted to go but not allowed to because I am a guy. Rape should not happen. Guys should not rape women / men and women should not rape women / men. Simple isn't it?
