No - not in the short term. Your anger and rage is energy and you can channel it into your own improvement. That shows actual maturity (that you can control and direct your rage) But pure emotion won't drive you long term - for that you'll need discipline and other motivations as your rage and anger subside. But it's much easier to develop that discipline from a higher physical condition than it is if you're soft and flabby!

I'd be curious to see how this applies to cucked step fathers

Have you listened to her speak? Feels go over ideology and logic, tingles rule all. Her entire campaign was hypergamous - both times. Jumping from topic to topic that seemed to be garnering the most popularity/power at the time (including Republican political ideals) And at the end of the day for being a strong woman feminist who was getting into power on her own - who did she stick with?

Yeah, I can verify that lightswitch affect. Spent a weekend with my unicorn girlfriend at her parents place and had some very passionate and intimate moments. At least I thought we did, after I got home she sent me the dear john letter "it's not you its me" Found out later she had gotten back with her old boyfriend the week before.

It's odd because I didn't do this with my first girlfriend or the 2nd, 3rd - it was, whatever you stupid twit. But the 4th... I was pathetic.

This is mostly true as I've experienced this myself. But there's another type of friendship between men - warbuddies. Those who've gone through hell and back with each other. In my case it came from a particular, very stressful, very competitive job experience where we, as a team held together to keep our sanity. We've all gone our separate ways since then but still keep in touch and get together about once a year to reminisce, party and share a few drinks. Our experience is the bond and our con…

This is the way young women like it today.

In fact, Chad doesn't even know he should be in control. Why would he know that? Women have always just given him what he wanted before. Actually that would explain a lot why hollywood's male stars are such prima-donna weenies who come out on the social justice bandwagon "save the planet", "MeToo", etc; Why go through the effort of having to actually think and explore an ideological or intellectual concept when your fame and women have just been handed to you. (And why many of their marriages ar…

Yeah but... you already are lying to yourself by thinking some percentage of women do NOT want your dick. How do you know without proper experimentation and sampling sizes? And if you're under 50% then you're obviously just seeing sampling bias and need to increase the sampling size. Assume the woman you're talking to wants your dick until she says she doesn't... then move onto the next one.

I can attest to this. I don't understand it but I can attest to it. Got a friend whose 5'5", overweight, balding and a super nerd but he's got an incredibly, overly, confident attitude. Like, Barney Fife confident. He's right, all the time (even when he isn't... which is most of the time) He's pulled lots of women this way. Can't keep 'em but he can certainly pull 'em!

Definitely - Reddit's CEO said as much last week AND that they're willing to make use of that information There's a trade-off of convenience vs privacy at this level. This is my TRP account so I don't cross contaminate my main account when I exercise right to free speech (which seems to be no longer free or a right anymore...). That said, the posts I make with this account only go to a certain level of strength - If your basic fellow redditer comes after this account that's one thing but if I wa…

She cares but she'll never make amends for it. At best she might go FWB but more likely it'd be pity fucks... (Seen it with a friend - it was pretty sad (and no it really wasn't me.) And maybe I'm wrong here because a true friend who felt that guilty and wanted to do something close to making amends might do something like... try to find a new GF for you. But they never DO that... Yeah, definitely no contact.

Good article. It feels almost like this is almost a physiological reaction (maybe something like her body is determining a bad genetic fit) OTOH I've seen married couples go through this and are able to rekindle the relationship (or not) but maybe that's a matter of forcing the body to adapt in a controlled monogamous state (better reproduce than no reproduce at all) indicated its a learned state but nothing you'll find in this current culture. (I'm just idly speculating and trying to fit the pi…

I disagree - It's a guilty conscience. Rationally she knows she screwed you over but emotionally she can't change how she feels.

I've still got enough BP in me that I'm still trying (and failing) to engage with women in an intellectual manner - They want me to make the world "magical" for them but if I'm wrong then I'm not a good match and if I ask them about their tastes they can't tell me and get annoyed that I'm asking because I should just know. I've got a black lab that's more appreciative of my affections and I wonder if I shouldn't just treat my relationships the same way - A few belly rubs, simple conversations "W…

So, for 4 years, she accepted monthly calls from him where he "verbally abused her sexually" but only kicked him out when he was freed?

Rush Limbaugh made a similar point many years ago but long before Facebook when people wore ribbons to show they cared (like the black one on Google's homepage now) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs35U6LGHgw

Oh sure - I agree I wasn't up to their standards at the time and, as I point out later, if my only intention was just to plate them or get a one-night stand it was definitely my fault in not achieving that goal. And you've already restated my point in your second paragraph - THEIR values changed, their standards dropped meaning I meet their standards now. I guess that's still "my fault" too? That's my point - If I really want to bang this chick then I just need to change myself enough until I ge…

It's your fault you don't meet her standards, not hers. I disagree. I've been rejected by several women when I was younger who, now married, have wanted to rekindle the relationship if not out and out leave their husbands for me. Personality-wise I haven't changed much, I'm not in physically better shape than I was at the time and while I have a successful career and and am financially well off now I was, relatively speaking, that way at the time. I was BP at the time and it crushed me as I was …

2.7 GPA (terrible student too) - In my 40s now making low 6 figures (near the top of the market for my area). Most companies have a tier level (associate engineer, engineer, senior engineer, etc) and then a salary range for that tier (usually +/- $20,000 EG - an engineer base salary is $50,000 and their salary range is $30,000 - $70,000 for that tier). If you don't have any notable skills/experience/jobs that you did while in college that are pertinent to the job you're being hired into then the…
