My guess is that he was so used to porn scenes featuring blowjobs that he needed this kind of setting to orgasm. As soon as it reminded him of his favorite porn, he got off even with light stimulation.

Oh, there's so many. Most depraved men are actually pretty transparent if you care to listen to them talk. often talks about other people's sex lives and gives you unsolicited examples of what others are doing in bed. A porn sick man often feels like he is missing out and other people have the kind of sex portrayed in porn; only he doesn't get to. often condescendingly talks about women who have casual sex or wear sexy outfits, he resents women who take charge of their own sexuality. Porn has ma…

Ugh yes my ex was extremely particular about food. He wasn't noticeably picky, as in he didn't refuse any foods outright, but he had so many weird little things to get hung up on whenever I cooked for the both of us (which was most of the time). It was just another way of negging and controlling me. I don't mind people who have somewhat stricter food preferences than the general population (as a vegan I'm one of them) but I hate people who expect others to accommodate thousands of little details…

Yeah, HV men pity and look down upon men who sleep around and can't hold on to a serious relationship, because they instinctively understand that a wife/girlfriend adds something to their lives that no amount of cheating and hookups can give them. That's one thing I enjoy about my particular cultural/regional background: if a man can't seem to find a long-term partner, it's universally agreed upon that there must be something wrong with him and people will give him advice on how to clean up his …

All the people I've seen in open relationships were extremely in denial and they all ended up going back to boring ol' monogamy as soon as they found a suitable partner. Some of the most devoted marriages I've seen involve former advocates of open relationships. I remain convinced that most people only agree to this because they desire love and romance so badly that they'll do anything to secure it, and if it takes being "chill" and allowing your partner all the freedom they want, then that's wh…

Advocates of polyamory contradict themselves constantly. They swear it's not superficial at all, that they just want to have deep romantic connections with multiple people -- and then go on to explain the amazing freedom of sleeping with whomever they find attractive at the moment, or admit that they do have one "main" relationship and the others are basically just "supplemental". So it is very egocentric after all. They'll slap a thin layer of "consent and communication" on top but of course it…

I'm not labeling my bf HV yet, because that has to be proven over a longer period of time, but he absolutely speaks about me/us this way. That it feels like home with me, that he has finally "arrived" where he's supposed to be. And it's not in a flashy or love-bomb-y way, he will just sigh contently and say something like this. He loves just looking me in the eyes or just holding me and enjoying my presence, and regularly tells me that's all he needs (obviously it's not all we do). I can tell th…

I have been there. It ruins your sense of self, security and peace completely. You are anxious and hypervigilant all the time, your partner is like a minefield to you. There's no real pattern to making him happy, sometimes he's impossible to please, then he's patient and loving again. This kind of emotional rollercoaster will make anyone go crazy. Healthy love and partnership is calm and quiet, to the point of being almost boring if you're used to constant drama. Drama can also be exciting, and …

You're completely right of course. It's just so disheartening to realize that our culture is so infested with porn, degradation and objectification, it's damn near impossible to find a man who has never watched porn in his life. Free access to sexualized images of women are marketed to men so aggressively on so many channels, promising them quick satisfaction without any of the work. Avoiding it must be as hard as never eating any sort of junk food or touching a drop of alcohol. I wonder if ther…

Consistent worrying about the future is definitely a major warning sign. If you keep asking yourself "I don't know how we would handle it if... (we took a long vacation together, we moved in together, got married, moved to a different city, changed careers, had children, etc)" and are actually kind of anxious about the prospect of you two in a situation that requires good cooperation, healthy communication and mutual support, then it's time to leave. With my ex, I was always afraid of being sick…

This. I'm in a fairly fresh relationship ATM (only been a couple of months) and I'm still holding off on sex. I have had too many bad experienced with sexually coercive behavior in the past and even though I am very attracted to this new guy, I really want to be 100% sure that he continues to be as respectful of my boundaries as he has been so far. When I told him I wasn't ready to have sex yet, he wasn't upset or disappointed at all and has not asked about an "update" or a timeframe for when I …
