This is not really a point I want to stick on, because it really doesn't matter, but Here is the video I remember. He talks about it at time stamp 5:38. He doesn't outright call himself a feminist as I thought, but the way he phrases his answer hardly seems RP to me.

Did people really praise him here? The author of the books is a self described feminist. A male feminist at that.

You have to realize what is really important in your life. Are you living on autopilot or do you awake with purpose? How much free time do you have on your hands? What are your long term goals? All that stuff you mentioned is meaningless. Your greatest strength is your ability to stop caring. We can only give so many fucks. Do you really want to waste them on useless things? Meditation will help. Look up Sam Harris on meditation. He talks about how all thoughts are just noise. You can learn to n…

So you break up with her, not because she did anything wrong, but because some random slapped her ass?

Todd V has a video on this. I highly recommend it. A lot of the text advice on this sub is comming from people who are horrible at texting themselves.

I see what you are getting at. I didn't have 4 days in mind initally, but my thought process was to be non-needy. I guess it makes sense to strike while the iron is hot though.

It's commonly said around here that I should only text for logistics, but after experimenting it seems this does not work for me. For example, I met this girl on tinder and things went pretty well in person, but when I texted her 4 days later to try and set something else up she did not respond. I know that could have been for a number of reasons but I suspect my text game is one. It does not seem like a good idea to just send one text trying to set up a date. Some back and forth is necessary be…

I understand what you are getting at. Thank you for your insight.

Right, well am I suppose to just assume you've read the other comments? I can only operate on the information at my disposal. It's not a big deal though. If I may, allow me to pick your brain on this matter. Surely where a tradition comes from should matter though. For example, family was the corner stone of Roman culture to the point Rome's old monarchy was overthrown and replaced with republic after the rape of Lucretia. The ring then represents a sacred bond that even royalty was to not overs…

From my understanding while the concept of a ring goes back to the Romans, the diamond ring comes from a viral marketing campaign by De Beers in the 1930s. Is a diamond ring really tradition then? Or is it a reflection of materialist consumerism?

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep this all in mind.

I've noticed that when I approach a particularly attractive girl I tend to get a little nervous. I understand that in situations you are not 100% comfortable in the adrenalin response is normal, but is there anything I can do to help alleviate it when the situation comes? I approched a girl today, and escalated a bit with her. She was receptive but commented that my hand was trembling. What can I do about this? I understand I need to keep approaching until I become comfortable with it, but is th…

Redirect your energy to the gym, try to keep moving as the more sedentary your day is the more urges you'll have to watch, try and go after the real thing, keep reminding yourself it's not worth it. If it feels hard to get over it that's because addictions usually are. You just have to take it day by day.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
