Married a virgin and she wants sex as much or more than me. It's as if waiting 30 years left her with a need to catch up on missed time. I'm probably lucky in that aspect. If she was less inclined I wouldn't think of divorcing her but my faith is strong in what I believe marriage should be and it's way more than sex.

I married one and most of her friends were virgins when they got married. Christian beliefs that are held on to still exist. Why it's a huge deal to guys is beyond me as long as sexual intimacy was limited to serious relationships.

This is just going to be my anecdotal experience. I grew up fairly poor and my father worked Monday - Saturday from sun up to sun down. Sunday was for church. He did this so my mom could stay at home to take care of the house and kids. He did the most he could to be active with my brother and I when he had time but there wasn't much of that. We have a good relationship but for him providing was the main goal of a father. He gave me what I needed as a child and sent me out into the world prepared…

I believe it was on the purple pill sub where they posted articles showing women had surpassed men in sexlessness over the past few years. This is why I don't place a tremendous amount of faith in studies. It can be easy to manipulate data.

According to studies male sexlessness has not skyrocketed past female sexlessness. This problem is multi faceted and will not be fixed by just one side. Getting rid of red pill dating advice does nothing without getting rid of the FDS type content. Go to Walmart and Target and look around. People are creating relationships in all walks of life. Best thing is to unplug from the internet and experience the real world.

For this question I am going to identify as a female. Absolute disgust if you don't take care of your body in all aspects. Don't have to be super fit but clean up all the unsightly hair. I was an Army infantryman for 3 years and have seen more naked men than anyone should have to.

Get off the internet and dating "stuff" in general. Most single women you will meet aren't carousel riders. They may have a few flings and serious relationships but it's not as bad as you think. 6, the number 6 is your focus, and do better. If you have bedded 7 women you surpass the average American woman. Just get to 7 and stop worrying about BS you can't control.

I'm a guy who sounds very similar to the woman in this fictional story oddly enough. I was somewhat religious but slept with whoever I was dating when I was younger. I met a girl who is religious and a virgin. Decided I wanted to wait until marriage and she obviously did too. Now we are married and doing great after almost 2 years. You can't boil down such nuanced things to a simple story. Same situation might be different if the individuals have different personalities every time that situation…

Ridiculously small sample size. Not arguing the findings but come at me with a sample size at least 10x what was offered.

I'll be marrying one in a few months. We are both religious and knew this would be the case when we started dating. Fits with my our life choices but we are both looking forward to the wedding.

I work in an industry that provides assistance to individuals based on income. The single biggest issue is parents raising children in a single income household. Doesn't matter what their gender, race or any other identifying stat is. It doesn't take an incredible amount of money to raise a child if you have good support systems in place, but those are seemingly non existent. It's not a sexual dynamic issue it's a consumerism and personal desire issue. Wrong sub to be asking this question from a…

It's BS and they know it. No self respecting person, just to make sure it isn't gender biased, should allow that in a serious relationship. It's an attempt to jump on the poly train in hopes it sticks.

Relationships with an age gap where the man is 5-7 years older have the highest success rate. Don't know where this person is getting their info. Maybe the OP was considering age gaps of over 10 years.

It's not based in real life and the influencers pick and choose data to suit their narrative. It's just fake news. People meet people and create bonds. Sometimes those bonds break but most of the time it's not for the reasons the popular RP "gurus" claim it to be.

Unfortunately sex is politicized currently. What politics has never been able to do is curtail human behavior. Obviously at a macro level and I'd argue currently at a micro level. I'm a Christian and I am currently engaged to a wonderful woman and we haven't had sex. 10 months strong! We don't concern our personal life with opinions of strangers and neither should anyone else. I do believe that my value system works best, and studies back that up, but people in most places are free to make their…

To be fair I'd say most people are boring these days. Not to point the blame at men or women. I would argue that men derive pleasure from different things than women and that social interaction may equal "not boring" to women.

On the sexual attractiveness bit, and this is just my opinion and what I witness daily, I think most people pair up with someone of similar attractiveness. I'm sure that plays into satisfaction at some level.

Depends on the territory. I live in Texas and you have to apply with the state to be considered common law married. The state doesn't force it on people who are cohabitating.

Hotest of hot takes and would never happen. If anything people would be more careful in casual encounters by way of various types of birth control. I suggest the poster of this comment to do some more in depth reading on various social factors. The last paragraph, if read by itself, is enough to tell me that you can only parrot popular talking points.

That's not the fault of women. It's a fault of government programs. I know older couples that didn't get married because they would lose their deceased spouses SSI. That's not hypergamy it's just common sense.

No woman wants to be a single mom or be on welfare. It's ridiculous that people think this. However, once caught in the system, many don't try to find a way out.

Be attractive (doesn't have to be a 10) and takes care of her appearance. Doesn't have a tremendous amount of debt and is gainfully employed. For me she must be religious and not have a sordid past. Able to plan ahead and have goals together. That's it.

You're not wrong. I believe the average age boys are introduced to porn now is 11. I can't even fathom that. Having a girlfriend doesn't fix their addiction and yes it is an addiction. It's not a surprise to me that relationships between men and women are failing and porn is the weapon used.

Hard to say. I was infantry and we were on a constant training rotation. I think most guys just wanted to relax and get drunk when we had free time instead of chasing girls. Porn probably had a very minimal affect on what they chose to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 12:50 AM

Maybe. I knew guys in the Army that could get girls with a decent amount of effort but were too lazy to do it most of the time. I'm sure the heavy users probably can't get real girls like you mentioned.

TL;DR you can't control yourself. Your whole thread is baseless accusations based on a certain ideology. Choose someone on more than sexual attraction and see your happiness improve

What's important is knowing that the other person is comfortable enough to engage in some sort of intimacy. I'm engaged and have not had sex with my fiance for religious reasons. However, we are very intimate and have done other sexual things. It's about both of us being comfortable and attracted to each other. If a woman has sex on the first date it's not because you are valuable it's because she has low self worth.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/21 02:50 AM

Exactly this. If you're both happy then who cares what random strangers on the internet think.

Normal guy here who is engaged to marry (outside of the state/legal requirements, i.e. no certificate) a normal woman. Let him know we exist and thrive outside of that mentality.

I like to jump in the comments and tell them to go to rural Midwest or South and see the responses they would receive from women there. The problem is that young men tune into the streams and truly believe that the female demographic brought on is representative of the gender as a whole. As with most red pill channels it gets monotonous very quickly. That said I have no problem with them making money doing what they do.

I agree with your assessment. The unsettling part is wondering if this individual will snap and do something harmful to himself or someone else. My fiance has told me some horrific stories from her past and what her female friends have told her as well. The mindset is dangerous and porn use exacerbates such thoughts.

Were you popping boners at every instance. Did people in the past need to vent about such things I'm pretty sure in the 1920s they had other concerns on the mind. If you think porn use isn't an issue then you are wrong and justifying harmful acts against yourself IMO.

Depends on what your goals are. If you want your junk to work well into the future then yes. You can rewire your brain if you have the willpower to do it. Women can tell when a guy is a chronic masturbator and it does you no favors.

You need to find ways to not focus on such things. Do you watch porn or peruse Instagram looking at basically naked women. If so then stop. You are wiring your brain to react in a specific way to women you see. Fap if you need to but avoid provocative material. Also stay off some of the subreddit sites that are not positive i.e. TRP.

You're projecting your behavior on others. It is possible to see attractive people and not be sexually aroused. In fact most people do it on a daily basis. Hard to fathom for you I'm guessing.

Correlation doesn't equal causation. That being said the ability to meet a spouse and create a family is becoming increasingly difficult for many people. I see no positive outcome for either sex in the future so worry about preparing yourself as an individual and look out for family and friends.

That's a relativist look at moralism and you are way overthinking this. If everything else in the relationship is great then what is the problem with waiting? The totality if sex in a long lasting marriage is around .1 percentage of the time if you're lucky. There might be deeper issues here that can be shared and talked over with your pastor.

I'm not a virgin but my fiance is. In fact I have a child. If that is her boundary then it should be respected and if you cannot deal with that you should be mature enough to end things. The question itself shows a lack of discipline and the desire for someone to give you a reason to engage in something that you know is wrong. Pray about it. Not for the relationship but for you to come closer to the will of God on your life.

I'd argue that suffering is a byproduct of comparison. Sure there can be physical and mental discomfort but would we view certain types of suffering as such if there was no reference point. Yes, life does have it's ups and downs but we should not go out of our way to seek suffering. I also think anyone who can't quit porn is weak and probably has other personal issues to work on. As a side note from a former Army infantryman, nobody should ever desire to go to war, but do it when absolutely requ…
