Must've been patriarchy at the renaissance fair.Better yet let me pose this question; supposing you're correct and men are born to fight and women (despite that one exception) are not, in what way does your observation advance male rights advocacy? | /r/MensRights | 09/10/12 01:00 AM
Must've been patriarchy at the renaissance fair.So your point is? | /r/MensRights | 09/10/12 12:34 AM
Must've been patriarchy at the renaissance fair. The shows they watch play on their need for entertainment and stimulation, the messages within them are targeted toward parents so that they will allow their children to watch the shows. This show is teaching your kid good things, let them watch! Advertisements target the children and focus on emotional and social needs, create wants, and offer an ideal of what they should be. Watch cartoons for a few hours some day especially focusing on shows targeted toward one gender, pay attention to the co… | /r/MensRights | 08/10/12 03:28 AM
Must've been patriarchy at the renaissance fair.Princess costumes, barbies, baby dolls, etc to ad nauseam. Girls ARE portrayed as more active, they however are typically not taught to be fighters. Rather they are taught to reason out their complex emotions and learn friendship along the way. There are tens of thousands of years worth of social instructions on how men should be manly and fierce while women should be docile and subservient. Men and women both act on these ideals in some form even if it is subconsciously. You and I may not readi… | /r/MensRights | 08/10/12 03:09 AM
Must've been patriarchy at the renaissance fair.Youths pick up their roles from society, this happens very early in life. If those children watch television, and they almost certainly do, they've been targeted for their entire lives and it has a big impact on them. Boys see adverts for superhero toys being played with by boys, girls see barbies being played with by girls. They mimic what they see. | /r/MensRights | 08/10/12 01:43 AM

I want to know how my child support is being spent.I understand your point. I comfortably pay for the expenses of my children, my ex and I don't share some of the issues others do. I am fortunate to get along quite well with my ex wife. | /r/MensRights | 24/09/12 12:56 AM
I want to know how my child support is being spent.I have mixed feelings about our child support laws. On the one hand it seems all too often the money is treated like a payday and doesn't influence the child's wellbeing as much as it ought to. On the other hand I wouldn't feel comfortable if someone was allowed to monitor or dictate how I spend my money, or use my spending habits to label me an unfit parent. As long as the child is being cared and provided for the courts are satisfied, if you want more time with her you should make your case in… | /r/MensRights | 23/09/12 10:29 PM
I want to know how my child support is being spent. The courts would see that as invasive. Essentially your money does not go directly to the support of your child, but maintaining the lifestyle your family would have had were you and your partner living together. Unless your ex is negligent or abusive the court wouldn't care about her Vegas trips. | /r/MensRights | 23/09/12 10:17 PM

[UPDATE] First Date coming up, need help from all you fine gentlemen at seddit again! It's perhaps quite corny, but here's a little guide. http://artofmanliness.com/2009/12/13/road-map-to-the-perfect-first-date/ | /r/seduction | 26/08/12 11:54 PM
Do I resent women too much to have successful interactions with them?If you choose not to be chivalrous you will indeed find less luck with the ladies. Your points are quite valid and accurate, though contain several generalizations that are not fully applicable. There are plenty of women who want true equality, they may not be readily apparent to you but they exist and in large enough quantities to be accessible to you. Be yourself, there are women who agree with you, there are people who believe in real equality. | /r/seduction | 26/08/12 11:40 PM
What Does /r/MR Think? Should I Anticipate Her Defense?Don't assume anything. Your instincts are probably correct, so prepare for the accusation. If it is unfounded and brought up in court it will make the process easier for you, judges really hate nonsense of any kind. I had a similar issue with my ex-wife, I went into the courtroom with proof ready to invalidate her claims. The judge saw through her BS after asking us both just a few questions, none of my evidence was even necessary. | /r/MensRights | 26/08/12 08:34 PM
My little brother is teased for carrying pepper spray and called things like "pussy" while I as a female am praised for doing the same. What the hell?Love it, love everything about it. A man should always be prepared, how he chooses to prepare himself is up to the individual. | /r/MensRights | 26/08/12 07:46 PM
realized something tonight.Love it, stop stressing and just be. It'll even work outside of bars, fyi. | /r/seduction | 26/08/12 07:24 AM
