Not a clue on what they can do with your Bitcoin. Could become a problem if you deny having it and then try to spend it later on as it can be traced. Maybe look into converting your Bitcoin to Monero if this concerns you. Completely private.

Oh it was definitely a draw to the game. Ever watch Conan play it?

Not sure how it works exactly. I imagine it’s a sort of professional ethics sort of thing where if he knows somebody lives there he has to report it. In the end it just but a stop to the idea either way.

She’s got a place that she’s trying to sell as well. So if he moves in with her he will be doing this again very very soon. Also she’s been pressuring him to buy a house together so he’d like a bit of space to hide from that. It’s a circus but interesting to watch.

Like the other comment says, it’s the friend who’s been divorced three times- not my dad. But what you’re saying is true. You’d think this guy has been through the ringer enough times to understand how this would go.

Eh I don’t really get bothered by that sort of thing so much. Most video games have parts where a male protagonist beats up a bad guy over twice his size too. As long as the story and purpose of the game isn’t centred around shoving feminist stuff down my throat I don’t mind. I really liked the tomb raider games for example. (Yes Lara Croft was hot AF but that’s not what I played the game for)

Give accounting a try. You’re only 1 year from finishing up and then you’ll get to see how you like it. Worst case scenario you find it isn’t what you expected and decide to go into a trade. A friend of mine started his electrician apprenticeship at 21 and has been very happy with it. 22 or 23 won’t be too late.

Just a disclaimer. There is about 45 seconds at the beginning of the movie where the guy’s wife is there. After that it’s all action lol

Oh yeah I forgot about the second one! Both are such great action films.

If you’re interested in hiding assets with crypto you may like Monero and pirate chain.

Sucks to be betrayed because she felt your pay check wasn’t big enough. I feel for you man. Good move breaking up with her. At least she wasn’t your wife.

Heh I have a good example of this from when I was in construction. 12 hour day in the field, return to complete my paperwork which should take about 1.5 hours. DING DING DING the HR ladies have scheduled a mandatory “30 minute “meeting for us! Sit there and listen to the two of them explain which one is meant to handle which issue for over an hour. Thanks for turning my 13.5 hour day into a 15 hour day to explain what could have been an email.

Been looking into Monero and pirate chain lately. Both very privacy oriented coins and the dollar vigilante has been promoting them. Pirate coin has seen some BIG action lately.

Is this gaslighting? Yes, I believe so. What does she get out of it? She gets you stumbling over yourself like a fool. Or perhaps she’s setting up plans with you in case her others fall through. Who knows? You have to show respect for yourself and distance your relationship with her. Why should she get to treat you like this? Don’t bother making plans with her anymore and keep an eye on any feelings you develop for her.

Idk how people do it either. Contracting is an interesting option though. That’s what my father did and he’s said it made the work more fun and manageable.

A comfortable cabin that I built myself, on land that I own, bought with money I made from my own business. I’d be mowing my lawn while sipping a gin and tonic on a Friday just after lunch. Why after lunch on a Friday? Because that means I’m comfortable enough to not have to work that day :) What am I doing to achieve it? Started my own business, found a side job to work while I build it up. Only a matter of time and effort now!

I feel you there. Had my own place, car, bright career, and would spend what little downtime I had trying to do something that gave meaning to the hours I’d worked all week. Took a long look at the bleak “but good” road I had ahead of me and threw it all away. Opening my own business now. If I have to live a typical male life, I’ll be doing it on my own terms.

You know If love life improved, I may stop being mgtow. That’s what ultimately led me here; the fact that relationships tend to turn sour and result in being negative experiences over all. How much it improves is really the deciding factor for me. It would have to be a damn big improvement for me to give up the freedom and peace of mind I have now. Laws aren’t really a concern. Better love life -> no divorce-> no need for the law. Neither is more women talking to me. They talk to me enough as it…

Mike Tyson is one of my inspirations oddly enough. I find him very wholesome in the way that he’s transformed into such a calm, positive, well adjusted person. The old mike Tyson was like a rabid dog, and likely to become a tragic burnout. But here he is, calm, warm, funny and stable. To me he shows that a person can really improve themselves and change for the better.

I was was having similar feelings up until a couple weeks ago. Had them for years. I ended up seeing a psychotherapist and it’s actually helped a fair bit. You may find value in seeing some sort of therapist as well. From what you’ve written it seems like you’re not getting the emotional connection and support you need. It can be hard to talk to friends about stuff like that and mgtow men don’t have wives or girlfriends to speak to either. Someone to help you work through difficult emotions and …

Haven’t hired one before but from what I’ve heard the actual professionals get tested regularly and can provide documentation that they’ve had a recent test. Use a condom anyway as there’s no guarantee they haven’t caught anything since the last test. Stay away from any that say they like to “party” or needlessly capitalize the letter T as that means they are avid drug users and more likely to have STIs.

Would I want a relationship like that? Yes. Have I ever been in one like that? Sort of. Will I always hold back expecting to be disappointed? Yes again. An equal relationship which improves both of our lives overall and where we love and trust each other would be wonderful. However, I feel that those types of relationships are one in a million. The guys I know who are in relationships benefit in some ways and pay in others. From what I’ve seen, the costs simply outweigh the benefits. Lack of fre…

Can’t go wrong with a Toyota Corolla. It’s not fancy but will last you 400 000 km before major repairs if you maintain it. Recommend the automatic as manual can have transmission problems. If you want something fancier than a Corolla but still reliable I’d go with a Honda Civic. I’m still driving a 2012 civic and the only work done on it has been the brakes and AC. Be careful when buying that you are comfortable in the car. Make sure the seat feels nice, that you can reach the pedals and wheel e…

Man it’s fucking exhausting is what it is. The only time they stop complaining is when they want to have a massive meltdown over what you just did (or didn’t do) but need to build up the energy first.

It’s not as harmless as people want you to believe. Smoking occasionally is fine as far as I’ve seen but smoking regularly will make you lazy and unmotivated. Smoke enough and you’ll find yourself sitting in a room alone watching “That 70s Show” so high that it doesn’t matter that you’ve seen the whole series three times already. That’s honestly the best way I can explain why smoking too much weed isn’t good for you. It won’t kill you like other drugs but you may as well be brain dead.

Fair point. I don’t recommend working these jobs specifically to get away from women. A nice part about them though is that it’s a bit of a boys club and so you’re more free to talk and joke around without the worry of HR getting involved. Mining and construction are actually fairly safe as long as people do their due diligence.

I’ve managed to avoid politics decently on social media. Just unsubscribed from any subreddits that got political. Only use Facebook to get in touch with friends through messenger. Spend more time on my hobbies as well. Don’t watch the news. It’s hard at first but you’ll find it’s worth it to not hear people telling you to be outraged every moment of every day.

Construction, mining, forestry, farming. All good jobs away from the bullshit and where your coworkers are just a group of people looking to get the job done.

I find it’s just a way to ease into a relationship without the awkward “are we boyfriend and girlfriend now?” talk. It’s all fun until you realize one (or both) of you are developing feelings and you have to make the decision to break it off. That part really sucks.

I’ve gone on walk dates before. They’re actually quite a bit of fun. Usually plan to walk to a specific place like an area with a nice view but the whole point is that we can talk more easily than in a restaurant or bar. The regular relationship bullshit will come later of course but i did enjoy the dates themselves. I don’t understand this idea that guys need to pay money to show they value the woman’s time. Everybody has other things to do- even men. I wouldn’t treat my friends like that so wh…

No major moment of realization but more of noticing a buildup of little things that led me to the red pill. Mainly through bad experiences of my own and noticing the mistreatment of my close friends. Examples: Girl at college is very interested in me. Very clear hints, friends even told me she said I was “boyfriend material”. Finally invite her to my dorm where she then explains that I need to be okay with her flirting with other men in front of me. It completely kills the mood and instead of ba…

Card magic/sleight of hand and cardistry. Fun stuff to mess around with, something you can do anywhere and for cheap. Good party tricks and for intimidating the guys at poker night before they take all my money.

I do that for almost all long arguments unless they directly affect me- like something at work. It’s just not worth the effort and often people aren’t willing to change their views no matter what. I find it’s just best to move on and get back to whatever it was I wanted to do. They might “win” the argument but they’ll be wrong their entire life.

The whole point of being mgtow is that you’re truly free to spend your time and money however you like. Take advantage of this.

The lack of peace and quiet. When I dated I was constantly getting texts, they always want to call or video chat, wanted to occupy all my free time with things to do together. I prefer to relax and mind my own business after a day at work. I don’t like being responsible for entertaining another person 24/7. Like don’t you have things you enjoy doing without me?

Yeah I like to keep my successes to myself unless asked. Mainly because I personally find it exhausting when someone brags about themselves unprompted but also because I don’t want to obviously look like someone doing well. This also helps me avoid being asked for loans and stuff like that too. Or dealing with the peacocking, one-upping and general bullshit that people pull to try to put you down when they feel insecure.

I was really happy when I moved out. It’s nice as long as you enough money and a decent place to live. The only shock for me was getting used to paying all the bills that come with being independent. The money wasn’t an issue but just going through the process of setting up the accounts and payments was something new to me. You’ll enjoy it and your relationship with your parents may even improve. A little space can help sometimes.

Pretty much just saving money until I can find a way out. Plan on buying a trailer, a plot of land and then opening a small business of my own. Not quite sure about the business yet but I figure I may as well work for myself rather than others. I don’t need much money to be happy anyway. The working life really does suck in some ways but luckily I’m in construction which is much better than many other work environments. Not sure. He’s my friend’s brother so I don’t know the smaller details. A course like that sounds useful though. I did see his portfolio used in his application and quite a bit of work went into it. A workshop centred around making good portfolios sounds like it would be quite useful.

Fair enough. 17 May feel like a late start but put the time and effort in and you will make great progress. Trying other courses but not liking them as much as your art ones is a good indicator that art may be your calling. As for useless art degrees, there’s a big difference between a liberal arts degree at a no-name college and an animation degree from Sheridan. The most important thing is just to do SOMETHING. As you said, if art doesn’t pan out- do something else. Don’t stagnate. I’m glad I …

A friend of mine’s brother is currently going to Sheridan for a degree in animation. He’d been drawing seriously since he was a teenager and didn’t apply until he was 23 or 24. Now he’s amongst the top of his class and loving it. The guy is super smart and easily could have gone and done well in a STEM degree right out of high school. Instead, he took his time, practiced his craft and is now on track to a very successful and fulfilling career in art/animation. I suggest you do the same. Don’t ju…

The guys at work have been encouraging me to try stand up comedy- which I’ve always been interested in. We’re planning to hold a roast-type event on our last day next shift with myself as the host. I’m going to study up, get a good set, and really put on a great show for everybody. After that, I plan to go to open mic nights and see where it takes me. I truly enjoy public speaking and hearing they believe in me has given me the confidence to get up there and give comedy a whirl. Very excited! Th…

A very bad relationship which flip flopped between being great and being abused (physically, emotionally, financially). When I had enough and left she suddenly decided to try getting her shit together to win me back. No way, José, I’m gunna live for myself now. I’ve got to say I really like it. Things are so much simpler now that I don’t have to consider another person in every decision I make. How do I deal with women now? I’m friendly but I won’t build any sort of relationship aside from being…
