Isn't accepting responsibility for yourself more advantageous for women?Yes. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/08/16 08:29 AM
Faking confidence doesn't work because the ''confidence'' which is attractive is actually genuine self-belief and self-assuredness."Fake it till you make it" operates similarly to the placebo effect. People who don't get actual medicine still begin to recover from their disease compared to people given nothing. Similarly, people who fake it can actually become more confident. It's not just they feel more confident... they become more confident. Of course, everything must be taken in moderation, but faking confidence does work wonders for timid individuals. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/08/16 08:28 AM
Men leaning towards TRP need to become VERY self-aware about the conflict between self-respect and maintaining a difficult relationship. This post doesn't offer much logic or evidence to support its statements. Also, I take time to particularly point out: "...because your girlfriend/wife can replace you in minutes and you can't do the same." Think about this. Any sort of meaningful relationship isn't so easily replacable. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/08/16 08:22 AM
What would you assume to be the issue if a man were to come to you and say, "I'm pursuing women in a socially acceptable way and I have normal social habits, but I am unable to find a date or gf."?He's too worried about what others think. Socially acceptable doesn't matter. Normal social habits don't exist, and he shouldn't be thinking about himself like that. He should try to be himself, and he clearly isn't. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/08/16 08:18 AM
When gender hatred is funny: analysis of how we live in a misandric societyOf course we can. That's the entire point of the Men's Rights movement. Before the suffragettes, women didn't believe they could get the vote. They did. Why can't we? | /r/MensRights | 21/01/16 01:01 AM
Is the wage gap a myth or not? You're right in this regard. Paid maternity leave should be required in America, as it is almost internationally (the other exception being Papua New Guinea). However, the difference between paid maternity leave, and unpaid maternity leave, would not be able to account for the 77% statistic thrown around. In addition, this would imply the wage gap is only a US problem, and would not apply to anyone overseas. I've never seen feminists emphasise, claim or even acknowledge this. | /r/MensRights | 20/01/16 12:45 PM
When gender hatred is funny: analysis of how we live in a misandric societyThanks a lot for this. Till now, I wasn't aware how extensive these double standards are. A man can be mutilated, and have his assaulter celebrated!!? | /r/MensRights | 20/01/16 12:11 PM
Is the wage gap a myth or not?Yes, they do. If they didn't, they could report to their company's HR. After that, media or court. | /r/MensRights | 19/01/16 06:48 AM
Family of man shot dead by University campus cop during a traffic stop reach $5.3M settlement with the University of Cincinatti - which also promises free tuition for all 12 of his kids.I'm confused how this is related to men's rights... | /r/MensRights | 19/01/16 06:44 AM
Is the wage gap a myth or not?Harsh. There's no need for such language. I had a look online, but the only articles I could find didn't seem reputable. e.g. 10 reasons why the wage gap is a myth etc. etc. etc. I searched if the wage gap is true, and got results from more reputable websites, e.g. governments, but they didn't debate the existence of the wage gap, and merely discussed how they were reducing it. So I decided to come here, where the wage gap would probably have been discussed in detail. I couldn't find anything wh… | /r/MensRights | 19/01/16 02:42 AM
Is the wage gap a myth or not?Sorry about this. I searched but couldn't find anything. I'll be more careful next time. | /r/MensRights | 19/01/16 02:37 AM
Is the wage gap a myth or not? That example wasn't appropriate. Sarah should have been given maternity leave or similar. From what I've read, people in similar jobs, with similar experience and education get paid similarly. A better example would be if Sarah decided to change from full time to part time to spend time with her child. She is not forced to do so, but she chooses to do so. As a result of this, Bill could get promoted, etc. etc. etc. | /r/MensRights | 19/01/16 02:35 AM
Is the wage gap a myth or not?Jesus. Seriously? Could you quote some sources for me please? I'd quite like to look into this further. | /r/MensRights | 19/01/16 02:31 AM
Is it possible that the majority of the men who swallow the Red Pill were never 'marriage material' to begin with? There's no evidence indicating an ability to empathise with another actually makes one alike another. E.g. I can empathise with Hitler. He seeked power, and did so quite cleverly, using the Jews as a scrapegoat and thus concreting his power. Do I agree with his methods? Not necessarily. One can easily relate to TRP philosophy without actually living it, and can therefore live in a healthy marriage. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/01/16 01:06 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???What you said is equally applicable to guys as much as girls. If everyone follows this behaviour, guys being asked out should occur just as much as girls being asked out. i.e. Girls can and should ask guys out. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/01/16 12:57 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???That's perfectly plausible in your case. But don't try telling me the great majority of women apply makeup because it's fun. If makeup was that much fun, why don't men get in the act too? And why would it have become so widespread among women, many of whom probably dislike art. And why do makeup commercials all feature attractive supermodels, rather than an arts and crafts instructor? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/01/16 03:46 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???Then it becomes a case of avoiding the wrong types of attention: in this case, physical imperfections or similar. The overall effect is to appear more impressive to society. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/01/16 03:39 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???So... To answer your own rhetorical, you, yourself, would put the effort in, and the risk of rejection, if you found someone you decided was worthy.i.e. Girls can and should ask guys out. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/01/16 03:21 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???If no-one noticed it, make-up'd be useless. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/16 01:58 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???In this case, it's about avoiding the wrong types of attention. The overall effect is to make oneself more impressive to society. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/16 01:55 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???I wear clothes for two reasons: 1. To avoid negative attention. If I didn't, I'd probably be arrested. 2. To impress those I meet. People do judge books by their cover. People may claim they wear them for warmth, or practical purposes, but most people in society do so for the above reasons. Make-up acts similarly. It's used to alter society's impression of oneself. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/16 01:54 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???Well, the makeup has to be for something. The most logical conclusion is that it's for society to notice, i.e. attracting attention. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/16 01:05 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???They definitely wear makeup. It's so common it's arguable not wearing any is unprofessional. As for leggings, I'm no expert, but most people dress to impress. Their desperation is debatable, but it's probably to draw attention. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/16 12:41 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???Then why didn't you call them out for it? Then and there. You'd be in the right. You'd had plenty of friends to back you up. And the entire feminist movement as well. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/16 12:37 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???I'm confused. Are you saying that's false? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/16 12:35 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???Or: a girl asks a guy out. Any assholes who say it's desperate get called out for it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/16 12:33 PM
If girls don't want to be led, then why don't they ask guys out on dates???So they ask you out. But you just said you weren't interested in dating them. Why not ask out someone you were interested in. Or are you telling me you've never found someone attractive your whole life? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/01/16 12:31 PM
