I don't understand your criticism. I believe morality has at least somewhat of an objective nature to it. Would you just randomly kill an innocent person for no reason? of course not. Being good is not about looking at laws, as you point out with Nelson Mandela. I don't disagree with you there.

Text her 1-4 hours after meeting her. Something like this "Hey it was nice meeting you! - EllisBerry123" This is a good way to break the ice, and will make it easier for you to text her later, as the ice is already broken.

I am so proud of you dude! You did the best thing. I have a question for you. What are your thoughts on a friends with benefits type of situation, or are you the type of person who is only interested in relationship?

I disagree with the first point. I think there should be a good balance of talking about yourself and talking about the other person. I do agree with your points about asking questions and smiling though. Don't try to force a smile however. Make sure everything you do is natural.

That's hilarious. Love this story. It's a shame you were not able to take a picture or something. Oh well, you'll get a lot more opportunities with the fact that you're approaching life in a fun way. Best of luck!

I'm glad you liked the post! You ask a great question. Let me elaborate. Another commenter asked me to elaborate on my point about compliments and this is what I responded with: I can give you an example. I once met a gorgeous woman. I believe she was model. I never once complimented her on her looks until it was clear she was into me. I remember the first ever compliment I gave her was in regards to a new language she was trying to learn. It was something she was trying hard at, and I was genui…

I'm glad you found the post helpful! I'm happy to hear you're trying to turn your experience into a positive one. Heart break hurts, but at the end of the day the only thing we can do is move forward and improve as best as we can. My advice to you would be to let go of her, at least for now, which seems to be what you're doing. If she's confused about what she wants then you need to take a step back. Maybe things will work out in the end, but maybe they won't. Try to lower your expectations and …

I remember the first ever compliment I gave her was in regards to a new language she was trying to learn. It was something she was trying hard at, and I was genuinely proud of her for the progress she had made. Keep in mind that this first compliment came weeks after I first met her in one of my classes. I could see her eyes light up the …

Well the first thing you gotta realize is that if you like the person, then you need to make a move. Once you make a move, either they reject you, or they don't. If they reject you, you need to move on. You need to realize that there are plenty of amazing women out there, and that being stuck on one woman is not helpful. If they don't reject you, then bravo! Set up a date and go have some fun. Understand that this person is a human being, and that putting them on a pedestal makes no sense. Don't…

I'm happy you found the message helpful. As you know, I can relate to the infatuation situation. It really sucked when it used to happen. I'm happy I've learned to overcome it. Loving oneself is crucial. You point about identity is a spot on. Best of luck in your process my man!

I'm glad you liked the post. Completely agree about your point about facing the music and realizing you've been doing things wrong. Sometimes it's hard to change one's worldview, so some people choose to live in denial instead. It takes courage to change. I also agree with your point on not ignoring the pain. Bottling things up never ends well.

I'm happy you found it helpful. I can resonate with the fact that you were never really taught social skills. It took me a long time to learn some of these principles on my own. You can check out my post "How To Turn Yourself Into A Social Butterfly" for some more information. I can also resonate with the fact that you feel paralyzed sometimes when you come across someone very attractive. It's a natural response. It takes a long time to internalize the fact that they are simply just another huma…

You make a good point. I think there's a difference between chasing in a desperate and needy way and being persistent in a socially calibrated manner. It takes a certain level of social awareness to be able to tell the difference.

One thing I did forget to mention was the importance of working on your confidence and attraction level. Things like getting a nice haircut or wearing nice fitting clothes.
