That's a slippery slope. You have to tell him once? What about just twice? What about three times? Then you're nagging and reminding him and you're the bad guy. The best guy is the guy you don't need to tell because he's in tune with you, you vibe with. There is no such thing as a guy you just have to tell once.

If he wants to date you, he'll ask you out. If it's been a couple days to a couple weeks to a couple months, he doesn't want to date you. Don't date a lazy guy who can't even summon the energy to ask you out. Don't get invested in a lazy guy that makes you want to ask him out.

Remember, it should be easy and not hard. No struggle love. If he loves you, you'll know. If he doesn't, you'll be confused. It's definitely counter-intuitive that you shouldn't put more effort, but that's how good relationships work.

I think a weird red flag is when a guy pretends his webcam doesn't work whether he's meeting you for the first time or you've been talking for awhile. Like wtf, you can just buy a new one cause you'll be using it in the future. Or a webcam not working generally doesn't happen on a platform used for video chatting. Such bullshit lies.

I've been doing some research and reading pick up artist books. One piece of advice is championed across all those books. Fuck a girl you don't care about so you have confidence to chase a woman who you really want. If you offer sex to a guy, he will gladly take it as the devalued, temporary, no strings attached, free ego boost that you have shown it to be. You will not cultivate loyalty or gratefulness with a man this way.

It's just this need to be proactive, to do something and show that you care. But people don't forget how much they love/like you. And if it's in their head, then you literally can't do anything to affect the outcome.

Try some mindfulness meditation. So it's just sitting or relaxing and observing and labeling your thoughts but not reacting to them. So an example: you think Fuck, why did I look at his instagram today he just posted a fucking picture where he's happy You label this thought: I am thinking about my ex and the thought is that I am angry about looking at his instagram And you do this for a couple thoughts to get some distance between you and your thoughts

Some men want attention from a woman, they don't care that it is negative. Look at all the "I totally had the last laugh at this woman" posts on the tinder subreddit. Men don't care that they're not going to get a date from a woman, it's to get karma points from men.

If you do more, if you compensate too much, if you let down your boundaries, men don't respect you more. Men respect you less and take advantage of you. From the Gift of Fear: Humor is one of the messengers of intuition. So intuition is telling these women that something is wrong about the way their husbands are treating them and the women are just accepting the disrespect and internalizing it.

Men vet and size you up immediately whether you're the person he wants to marry or a hole he'll just fuck until he finds the person he wants to marry. It's a unconscious fallacy among women that he just needs a woman's time and effort and she needs to prove herself to him. That's why women wait a long time for a man, five, ten, forever years.

Nah, she'll do it because she luvs him. However, he'd leave her if she got disabled or he found someone even younger and prettier so fast she wouldn't even know what hit her.

I'm going to go with intuition and emotions. Does he make you feel sad? Is there time that he could be spending with you but doesn't? Did he not answer your call when you know he has free time? Did he not answer your text for several days? Did he make a future plan with you but not follow through? Do you have a really bad feeling in your gut, but you have no evidence so you tell that feeling in your gut to shut up? Do you find yourself making excuses for him like he's just busy with work or dram…

Sure, asking this question will take out a guy who tells you immediately they're looking for fwb or ons. But really you're judging by actions, is he consistent, does he respect boundaries. Because words, texts, checking your instagram, doesn't mean much. It's not much use to ask this question of someone who might be vague in order to lead you on for sex.

Men aren't shy to approach or make a move because they are intimidated and need a woman's hints and help (just look at catcalling or men even cold approaching uninterested women). It's more important that he's interested than if you're interested. If he makes the first move, you then can decide if you're into him. Because if you have more interest than him, if you make yourself too available, a man will settle for you and fuck you while he looks for his true love.

I'm going to paraphrase something relevant from a Greg Behrendt interview: What do intentions look like? You know what you look like when you want something, you're not to be stopped. When a guy is hungry, do you think he sits around going "I'm hungry, I wish I could get a sandwich, I would love a sandwich right now" No, he goes and gets the sandwich. If he wanted you, he would go get you. But he doesn't. Don't chase someone who doesn't want you.

Write the text and don't send it to him. Calling him out only lets him know that he had an effect on you. Anger is not the opposite of love, apathy is the opposite of love. You don't have to tell him what he did wrong because he already knows what he did wrong.

Greg Behrendt came up with the whole philosophy behind He's just not that into you and his coauthor had to convince him to write the definitive book on that. Men know other men.
