I agree that you shouldn’t have read his diary but since you did, a man who calls himself a sociopath is not your husband. Notice also that he said you were the first person to make him feel loved— not that you were the first person HE loved. He saw you as a means to an end, or a thing to be used. Not a whole person. Nah dont worry, there’s a lid for every pot. There’s ALL kinds of people out there. Even serial killers find love, what makes you think you’re so unlovable? Try unpacking this in therapy. Just don’t lose hope and keep looking, you can definitely find a partner if you’re a nice, sweet person with personality and an optimistic attitude for your life.
