I haven't done my due diligence, but it does seem data centers have become a sure-fire financial windfall for newly-minted billionaires. The problem is a lack of evidence of long-term environmental destruction; hence, a lack of political will for pushback. I understand it appears like a ticking timebomb. Btw, as a resident of the Philippines, I'm in the pro-data center crowd. The concern here is lack of planning, given that civilian infrastructure here is often substandard. We're the opposite of…

Haha, I agree that the Spain rape thing is questionable. Feminist subs will have a lot to say about this, even if they're against the illegal mass migration. You know, I'm just happy men and women are starting to have these honest conversations again. Men are beginning to realize they need to give 500% to truly get what they want from life. Whereas, women are already halfway there and need to reach out to other women struggling in distant regions.

Those women aren't feminists, but narcissists. Their need for attention is exhausting. They probably have also scammed others to get towhere they are now. It's unfortunate that social media thrives on these secretly-terrible people. Feminists at least may have committed to a charity in the past that's helping validate their beliefs. And tell me if "nice guys" who can't leave their bedrooms are likely to commit fraud and other crimes. We may have our twisted fantasies, but that doesn't instantly …

Are your friends actually having a battle of the sexes argument right now? Imo, that's tough, but I think your group has to go through it for the sake of maturity. And preparing yourselves for bigger challenges ahead. To contribute to this topic: Absolutely yes. One can be a feminist and still support men's rights like it's some kind of spiritual battle. Heck, to a certain extent, I find myself feeling challenged by the quips of narcissistic women wanting men to be perfect, even though that thin…

Happy to know there are people in this sub who is aware about data centers and the propaganda surrounding it. Being for or against it doesn't make you fall in line to a particular ideology. I can certainly get behind feminists if they just chill out a little and actually critique what boys actually consume and go through. I'm fine with them having an opinion about us as long as it's based on facts, rather than assumptions. They still haven't gotten the male psyche of retreating to online enterta…

You couldn't have said it better. I got back to my co-editor in my first company recently after 8 years without contact. She's become a proud feminist, but doesn't take political correctness seriously, at all. The reality is financially stable women just want to get the most out of life as much as they can. The bullshit we hear from social media is only an extension of their egos. Btw, this same girl groped me in a company outing but I still forgave her. The belittling of men may be a doctrine i…

The media still fails to distinguish failed nerds from full-on psychopaths. I do feel it for the male nerds who came of age the previous decade. Busted their ass off to earn their qualifications but just couldn't get to where they want to be. This is often due to underdeveloped personal goals rather than "social skills", which is relative btw. If these nerds or "true incels" want to stay broke and be in front of their PC all day, let them be. One day, a life experience will wake them up and lead…

I'm going to be the devil's advocate here to say this female approval has existed even way back. And if you really love someone, you have to somehow catch up with that person even if what you're doing isn't aligned with hers. The key is to remind yourself not to revolve around her world too much, and understand how important your role in society is. I think we've become too entrenched into consumerism that attraction has substituted for all kinds of emotions. It's quintessential numbness, withou…

Guys who work in tech tend to go with the flow when they're with a female majority group. A bunch of high-earners but directionless individuals who use this casual SoCal language that you often see in Netflix shows just to fit in.

Spend more time outdoors. Better if you can start an enterprise or tie your career in communities away from the city. Modern feminism is closely tied to capitalism, and most of the gaslighting is concentrated in cosmopolitan areas. I would even argue that young women are being preyed on by the beauty industry, and a female mental health crisis is brewing, esp in developing countries. Getting close to nature is another way for men to practice their inner explorer like our forefathers. I think the…

Spot on. As a supply chain consultant, I've always kept a distance from tech bros and chose to spend my casual working hours with humble charter houses and maritime personnel. The ship superintendents, who double as trainers in particular, are some of the most humble and kindest men I've met. People who work in tech tend to have an artificial sense of satisfaction. It's almost disrespectful to lump them together with nerds and introverts. Sociopath is a better word to describe some of these indi…

Probably means they only hire women or gay men to defend the few powerful men on top.

I saw these posts on Instagram too. Bud, we're adults now. The opinions of others isn't your reality. If the sight of it still makes you sad, there are also posts that get contrarian comments defending masculinity, both by male and female users. It's 2026 and the reality that everybody goes through the same shit everyday starting to dawn on so many people. This includes people from poor countries with an entirely unique social sphere. In my view, the rich and the powerful are pitting us against …

When TMZ is consistently reporting on women raping underaged boys, then you know the tide is shifting. This is not just about men's mental health anymore, but how both genders exercise their power and how some are willing to go far to seek justice or defend their bullshit. I have a feeling Gen Alpha's adulthood will be defined by a Battle of the Sexes when tribalism in workplaces and communities continue to grow and more and more men are being displaced from positions they've worked for. Screw t…

Messageboards revolved around taboo topics. I got sucked into depressing rabbitholes at times, but you could pretty much talk about anything. Your comment there feels like an actual contribution to the community. Best of all, nobody is trying to sell something. People are rude to each other and I loved every bit of it. Isn't it ironic boards these days are mostly participated by old rich folks? Fashion Spot forums come to mind (yes, I'm a straight guy who enjoys studying the high society+fashion…

The current iteration of social media was spearheaded by the bossgirl movement over a decade ago. They made it all about themselves. Now, those same women are paying the price for burnout and even more division. They created a monster. Back in the 2000s, social media was a more welcoming space for men.

Western civilization right now is heavily rigged towards women. The digital landscape, in particular, is powered by how women consume in a way they could live (not so) freely yet still depend on the Machine. This is how capitalism has evolved following the Global Recession. If we want to play this game, we definitely need to put our message out there in a creative fashion. Show them the irony that men are becoming more self-aware and classy, while women risk of devolving, throwing etiquette out …
