Yeah, I think gym bros are really prone to exaggerate progress / 1RM as part of the sort of banter competition in the gym. Like oh yeah, I bench two plates, got there in six months (neglect that they have been doing weight training in some form since they were 15, are now 25 and hit that bench after six months but they'd had a multi-year layoff from sport)

Those numbers never made any sense, linear progression at that pace like that only really happens with drugs or if you have a history of sport training in high school / college and are coming back from a long layoff. People will do one half rep with two plates and a spotter basically lifting 20% of it and then say thats their bench and go back to benching 130 for 5 reps lol

Pro tip, the guy who founded AA actually quit drinking by taking a massive amount of LSD and having a unity-type mystical experience (seemingly this is also the source of his becoming religious). There are a small number of women with mental health issues or financial issues / poverty that pursue older men. There are also giga-hoes who want to fuck people outside of the club scene / their extended circles to protect their reputation. IMO the majority case is implicit / unspoken SD/SB relationships where they don't necessarily call it that but the partner is younger and broke and getting holidays and stuff paid for.
