1	Giving boyfriend your card under the table so it looks like he’s the one paying Well, if he is your BF and its a bother to him....what's the cost to you other than dinner? I think you should look at it this way. He is ashamed he can't provide for his GF or Wife. Being a good provider is essential to a man in that role. It says that his mind and heart are in the right place to want to do better and eventually provide, but money is an issue for him. The opposite is a guy that cant pay, but feels no way about it.
