Its weird though, I dont really unferstand the point of the OP, the phrasing would indicate that the double standard is being 'pointed out' to women, but I primarily hear it being used from one man to another man. Just my experience though, not trying to claim women NEVER say 'man up' but in my experience it's much more prevalent amongst men.

I propose that the system we have now is better than allowing government control over reproductive rights. Thats all. I can see though, that you submit frequently to r/aspergers , so let me give you some advice; try not to take your social ques from these mens rights guys and whatever other misogynists you see on reddit. Men and women are not as different as you may have been lead to think they are.

Forced birth control are you fucking kidding me? That dosent strike you as at all orwellian? Lining up at a clinic to recieve your daily government mandated dose of birth control dosent even strike you as SLIGHTLY police state-y?? There's no way you actually believe what your saying, youre just being willfully obtuse. And trying to gaslight someone by making the concept of two people having a child without the governments consent is just fucking ridiculous dude. Get a fucking grip.

Requiring government approval to indulge in the most base human instinct is incredibly Orwellian. Tell me, how would you enforce this? Compulsory abortions? This idea is so truly retarded it baffels me that people are supporting it at all.

Show me one shred of non anecdotal evidence that supports that claim. Its also speaks loads about your character when, just because a certain group of people are doing better than you, you automatically assume they're being shown preference rather than just doing better than you. Also, gotta love that sample size SIX PEOPLE??? CALL THE SMITHSONIAN!

Do you guys think the results would be the same if it were a hot female profile with racist/sexually demented views looking for males?

Lol I'm not saying it's not im saying if you're a manager, and you punch someone in the face, chances are you're getting fired. Like if a dude had slapped this guy and he punched him in the face I think he'd still get fired. Proper protocol would be to diffuse the situation and let the authorities handle it, this is just bad PR for panera bread.

Well this is no way to conduct yourself as a manager, no matter the gender if you stick an employee you're probably getting fired.

Apologies, I guess I saw your comment more as a defense of the core thought rather than the analogy itself. I guess to encompass and conclude my point I would just say this: I believe that women face unfair societal pressures to deny themselves pleasure, and I believe that the ideology associated with the lock and key analogy only serve to excuse the promiscuity of men while berating women for doing the same. But this really isn't the sub for that kind of talk I guess.

I disagree. I think women can definitely make sexual accomplishments by sleeping with men that they seem to be attractive/"out of their league". I.e I can go bang any gutter slut I want to, but I don't cuz they're gross and I believe the same goes for women. Also I don't think a woman should be forced by society to deny herself pleasure because it's "too easy".

See I used to agree with this, until I realized that men who do the same thing do not receive equal scorn. If a woman who sleeps with 50 men by 20 is "disgusting" then why would it be any different for a man? Inb4 "a key that opens many locks....." it's actually a myth that the vagina can be "stretched out" by sex. http://m.psychologytoday.com/blog/all-about-sex/201109/the-rare-truth-about-tight-and-loose-women

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
