3	There are 50/50 male/female to hookup with each other but somehow there's a mass of men that are struggling but women are chilling. How does this make sense? If you're below say the 25th percentile in physicality there is indeed very limited scope to get anywhere, regardless of your efforts, so I'll agree there. Anything above you can hypothetically move the needle in your favour enough with other stuff for average women to become interested in you. 2	What's the role of money here? There are only so many men up there. It's logically impossible for more than a few women to date upwards (then who the women who are "up" end up dating??). How it works as I see it is some high-value men date high-value women, some high-value men date a lot of lower-value women, and some low-value women (have to) date down because of the former mentioned (lucky for the lower-value guys if they can hang on). It's so normalised now that they don't consider themselves "addicts" for watching it. In fact I found it really easy to quit it (6 months ago) and haven't watched since. To an extent, it's more like a habit than an addiction. A bit like smoking (used to be) I guess.
