Was the girl attracted to him or was it a neutral level of attraction at first and slowly the level of attraction went up? Potentially she was. Maybe he's charismatic. Maybe rich or high status. Maybe her best friend has a thing for him. Maybe he naturally has good game. Attraction (especially female attraction) is about much more than looks.

But your post history suggests you often do this?

Make and hold eye contact. If you want to be really obvious, bite your lip 🫦

Also if anyone can explain what eye technique means/how to flirt with eyes? I'm 41m and I only learned this recently. Someone I dated taught it to me. Look at his eyes, a quick glance down to his lips, then back to his eyes. Repeat until he gets the hint and kisses you.

Women are super picky when swiping. Research shows that women rate only 7% of men as "above average" for looks on dating apps. What you think about yourself and the reality of the situation might not be the same thing.

She’s not making it easy to happen naturally Then she's probably not interested. Someone interested will make it easy to happen naturally once they're at your place.

Dance classes are also great. You learn to be the "lead" through subtle touch (I can't over emphasise how powerful this is) You meet lots of women Dancing is sexy

Add to this "Dating Essentials for Men" by Robert Glover. I'd go so far as to say it's the only dating book you need. It's served me really well returning to dating after 15+ years in a relationship.

No, I mean coffee dates work great even when you're in your 40s. The top comment is excellent at explaining why this is.

Happens to the best of us. Recently had a situation where we were kissing, undressing each other, and for some reason I kept my underwear on. Maybe expecting her to take it off? Anyway, eventually she said "are these coming off? We're both adults here..."

Yeah you're doing this right. Many guys are just clueless. Watch the "maybe she's Canadian" video to understand how men think.

I've found they typically do lead to a second date. It's almost certainly not the coffee, so I'd consider other factors: Are you making sure to include touch (at a minimum, offer a hug when you first meet!)? Are you making her laugh? Do you gently tease her?
/r/seduction21/12/24 09:35 PM

She asked you a few polite questions that anyone might ask on a first date. It means she was being polite. She wasn't ready to kiss you. Potentially she's not interested at all. If you're still interested, ask her on a second date and see what she says.

Depends on the group, the one near me was mostly older people. You can improve your social skills at all kinds of social events and groups. I'd suggest going along to something you enjoy and want to do. If you want to improve your public speaking, by all means go to toastmasters.

Or she could be invested and anxious about how to reply. I've spent 12+ hours working out how to say yes to somebody.
/r/seduction27/06/24 01:06 PM

The method is to stop putting anyone on a pedestal. Be open to dating a wide range of people, even those who aren't your ideal "type". When you're less invested, you'll find that you're better at meeting people and creating intimate connections.

It's incredibly practical, it turns dating into a step by step process and helps you learn all the skills you need to be good at dating. It completely changed my mindset and approach to dating (and social life in general). It's also turned upside down how I assess whether someone is a good fit for me as a partner.
/r/seduction21/06/24 08:56 AM

It's about what you want. If it works for you then it's all good. I want real intimacy, and I can end up using fantasy as a way to avoid this. It's safe and at a distance.

If you're meeting them through apps, then within the first 5-10 messages. Make her laugh, ask her out.

Dating Essentials for Men by Robert Glover is by far the most useful and practical book on dating and sex that I've read. I'd even go so far as to say that you don't need any other book.

Yeah he's great at the playful vibe, he needs to hold onto that instead of pouncing the moment she shows interest. Build up the tension instead of bursting the bubble.
/r/seduction19/06/24 03:17 PM

Coffee dates are great as a first date, you can build sexual tension through touch and eye contact, and also you get to decide whether you want to see them again. If someone's been fun to spend time with on a coffee date, maybe you'll be more motivated to spend the evening with them.

A big part of interacting with any person (whatever their gender) is testing for interest. If they're interested, they'll put effort in and support you in continuing the conversation. If they're not, they'll be more closed off. Most people you try to interact with will "reject" you (i.e. show low interest). In that sense, it's a numbers game. But it's not about rejection. People are low interest for all kinds of reasons. It's about how you take forward the people who demonstrate interest.

I've been to plenty. I get it, it's an intense environment. You feel really close to other volunteers/workers. But not an appropriate place for sexual liaisons.

A children's camp isn't the place for hook-ups... If you're an adult and vibing well with other adults just make sure you get their contact details and stay in touch afterwards.
/r/seduction13/06/24 10:21 PM

That's a good goal. And don't be shy to cycle back to the same lady. The conversation can be throughout the evening, it doesn't have to be all at once
/r/seduction13/06/24 10:00 PM
6

The next step is to test for interest. Is she open to continuing the conversation? Though at music events that can be tricky to gauge when it's loud... Don't force the conversation if she seems disinterested. If she is interested, she'll put effort into the conversation too. The final step in testing for interest is to ask for her number, or move the conversation to another location.

"hey, have you seen this band before?" "This is a great band!" "What a tuuuune!!!" Or anything like that. Just put it in your own words and show that you're having a good time. Contextual/environmental openers are easy at music events.

Thank you. And that's a great line. Especially as she has gorgeous eyes and I tease her a lot that she's mean to me.

Gotcha. I guess I'm just trying to work out the difference between heavy flirting and physical escalation. I'm good when it's 1-1 and on a date. I feel more uncertain in social situations. I guess with flirting the furthest you'd go is touching her face? And you keep pulling back a bit too. Also do you have any go to phrases you'd use for flirting in social situations? Telling her she looks good?

Hello there
/r/seduction11/06/24 08:21 PM

can u tell me the difference between FWB and short term relationships? FWB usually means you just get together for hookups. There can be emotional connection too, but that's not the main focus. With a shorter term relationship, you're getting more of the full relationship experience. Also what does non exclusive dating mean? Like having multiple partners at once (Rotations)? "Partners" is a strong word for casual dating. More like multiple people you're seeing. Many people would say that all dat…

Casual dating can mean many different things: A series of one night stands Friends with benefits Dating non-exclusively A series of shorter term (up to 3 months) exclusive relationships A relationship where the main focus is sex With casual dating, the main point is that you're not looking for or committed to a long term relationship.

Being attractive is based on a range of traits. To name a few: Your looks Your physique Your health/fitness Having an interesting life Your wealth Your level of hygiene and personal care Hairstyle Your job Having a sense of purpose How you dress And yes, confidence/mindset. So many of these things you can impact. It's not true to say that attractiveness is fixed and unchangeable. What people mean when they say "confidence attracts women" is that how you think about yourself impacts how other peo…

You're texting "hi" or "hola". You need to up your texting game. Assume she knows who you are, and in your first text just continue the conversation you were having irl. Ideally referring back to something that made her laugh.

Additional to OP's comment, she gave you all the kissing vibes when it came to say goodbye! Eye contact. Looking at each others' lips. Don't miss those next time. Go for the kiss!

Everyone's different. You might be demi-sexual. Things might click for you when you're horny and in the moment. Or maybe you'll always be someone who needs an emotional connection before sex.

P.S. The text is just a polite way to say there wasn't enough attraction there for her. I use a similar template when I decide someone's not right for me. Reading any deeper into it won't help you. You need to learn how to build attraction... and accept that it won't work out with everyone. You've done awesome going on 15 dates. Keep up the good work, and keep improving.

You need to read Dating Essentials for Men by Robert Glover. It's got everything you need, including how to stop being awkward, and how to meet women in the real world. But mainly it will show you how to transform dating into a self improvement machine. So with every date you'll be building a better you.

Also, if you do want to cold approach at the library or on the sidewalk, then a goofy question like "what time is it?" is a good way to get some practice and build your confidence.

If you're getting repeated (more than once) eye contact at a bar or party, then yes approach!
/r/seduction29/02/24 01:51 PM
12

No, it's a small IOI. And the ones who don't give eye contact may just be shy (like you used to be). You'll probably get a range of different answers, but in the situations you're mentioning I would just enjoy the eye contact you're receiving and giving. It's a silent "hello". If you see the same person 2-3 times then by all means approach. Or you can do an eyebrow raise to show you recognise them. Then approach on the next occasion. I'm not a fan of cold approach and prefer having some pretext/…

I would just use a dating app and openly state what you're looking for. Feeld is the app that's most fit this kind of thing, but you're likely to have success with any app.

I think a lot of it is about context/environment. You sound quite self aware tbh. If a little down on yourself. Are you socially inept in every situation? What about structured environments such as school? I used to believe I was socially inept in my teens. The truth was, the friends I had and the activities I took part in weren't a good fit for me. Once I found my crowd and my things, confidence and social skills came naturally. It's also about knowing that not everything you go to will be a go…

They're either expressing a need (to be rejected by you in a particular way if you're going to reject them). Or they're starting to move towards a space where they see you as a friend. And/or they're not over that person, so they're seeing you as an ego boost. Whichever it is, I would try to wrap it up by saying something like this: "That sounds like it sucked" (Listen if she vents a bit more. Then give a wry smile) "So when things don't work out between us, how would you like to be rejected?" Y…

I can tell you how it happened for my ex-wife ( at least what she told me) They hung out as friends after work, in a group with other colleagues too She enjoyed his company, he noticed this He invited her out for a drink for "feedback on a PowerPoint" Next time, her invited her over to his place for "feedback on his music" While she's at his place, they started making out He said "this is a really bad idea, I don't think it will go anywhere" She agreed and they had sex anyway
