I’m Portuguese and currently living in Switzerland, and maybe that explains part of the difference in what we observe. I do feel like I keep encountering situations (both online and in real life) where women my age seem more interested in older men — not necessarily 20+ years older, but enough to make younger guys feel overlooked or dismissed.
