It's 2017, you think people wouldn't have such a stick up their ass about an interracial relationship. You'd think that would be the case but there are still huge hang ups about in the younger generations. I actually think we were making progress on this until identity politics starting blaming people for the sins of their forefathers.

I think I agree. Among some of my closest friends I've noticed that more of us WANT to be traditional than many of our female friends. However, I will say that my sample is likely skewed as we all are either immigrants or first generation American.

Makes sense to me. Women hate stepping on each other's toes, at least not directly. Their natural self censorship of themselves and each other leaks into the general atmosphere until there's a chilling effect of sorts on what can and cannot be said for fear of upsetting others.

You're now free to experiment with different ways of living life (hence modern feminism) because you have the economic wealth and political stability that allows that. Where I'm from we are economically underdeveloped and culturally backwards. On top of that we have imported modern feminism thanks to American/Western mass …

Dude, this is not made up. It's my life. Part of the rules is to post honestly/in good faith. What would have me rather do?

Preface: These ideas actually led me to believing that TRP is the true way. I come from a developing culture/country where there are rampant societal ills and my thoughts are from this context. Theory: The end goal of TRP/RPW is marriage. Family is the base unit of society and community. It is the atom. It is the foundational building block. Without solid families, incomplete and damaged children are created resulting incomplete and damaged men and women. Without proper family role models to gui…

Join a student org and go to events. They are inherently designed to attract like minded people. It means the girls there already have something in common with you and you have an easy topic to open with.
