Oh yeah I was done a while ago, I got another notification but the comment is deleted, probably by an admin.

I'm offended when people make small penis jokes and call them or for it because body shaming is always wrong. By your logic I shouldn't do that because I don't have one. That word is ableist and ableism is always wrong so I will call you out for it, full stop. Bye, hypocrite. I have better things to do than argue with someone so condescending and ableist to boot.
/r/MensRights03/08/25 12:25 AM

By that logic you shouldn't be telling women to stick up for men!!! See something, say something, right? Hahahah you just played yourself, good job.

Of course you use the r slur 🙄

Yep, I blame the false accusers at least partly for the fact that I never got justice. I survived twice, the first time they said I was "at a party and made a bad decision", nope, he carried me inside his house. Second time it was my ex AND the police told me a 15 year old also came forward around the same time, still never went to court cause he convinced them that the strangle bruises on my throat were "BDSM, she's into that shit". I guess those fall in the "we don't know" pile :/ Gets me out …

I found myself agreeing with some of your statements, then I checked out your post history and saw you're active in FDS and you just lost all credibility. Gross.

I mean... then get a better job. She's mad that her husband's job is better and offers more leave to parents, not just fathers. It's not like the men get more leave than the women at the same company.

My fiancé was falsely accused. He was a DJ at a club and one of the girls he worked with got too drunk so he offered to drive her home. The whole ride she was coming on to him and he kept trying to get her to stop. They got to her house and her brother was there, he helped my fiancé get her inside and upstairs. He stayed and talked to the brother for a while and then left. Couldn't figure out why the next day at work she and a few other girls were giving him dirty looks so he finally approached …

You responded to my comment, you don't get to "tell" me what's on topic or not. I literally did all of that and it didn't matter. Rape is not off topic because the law doesn't say "except in the case of rape". What are you reporting me for? Calling you a jackass? Did I hurt your feefees?
/r/MensRights23/02/21 08:44 AM
1

I don't need your empathy you fucking jackass. He started raping me while I was asleep and then when I woke up he choked me out on my bed until I passed out. This bullshit law they want to pass would give him the right to force me to carry a pregnancy to term. It's fucking bullshit and apparently, so are you.
/r/MensRights23/02/21 07:15 AM

I've mentioned it multiple times on reddit. I don't have to prove anything to you, jackass.

The fact that you read my post about being violated and then responded with this is really gross.
/r/MensRights22/02/21 07:34 PM

So I was raped by my ex without contraception. He desperately wanted to have a baby with me AFTER I broke up with him. If I had gotten pregnant due to that, do you think I should be forced to carry to term just because the rapist wanted a baby? This is 100% true, you can search my post history. I've mentioned the rape at least twice before.
/r/MensRights22/02/21 07:15 PM
3

Just have to say: I was raped with no protection by my ex who, after I had already broken up with him, started talking about how much he wished we'd had a child. If I had become pregnant and subsequently been forced to give birth to a child that was half him, I would have either found a way to get a back alley abortion or literally just taken my own life. BTW, it was never proven in court that he raped me. I worked as closely as I could with the detective but it never even went to court, even th…

The comments on this post are reaffirming my stance as a female MRA. The fact that most of you are against this is really refreshing. Women can literally die during childbirth, even if they don't, their bodies are likely going to be changed for the rest of their lives. I had a wanted pregnancy that I thought would be a natural birth turn into an emergency cesarean when my son got stuck in the birth canal. The same thing happened to my sister. I was in labor for 22 hours before they determined th…
/r/MensRights22/02/21 09:13 AM

Sorry, not sorry. I'm a female MRA but until men can carry a baby, or reproductive science figures out a way to transfer a fetus to a gestation machine, the only people who should get to make a decision about an abortion is the woman who is pregnant.
/r/MensRights22/02/21 08:54 AM
4

Everyone's just gonna ignore the fact that the man doesn't have to establish paternity to contest the abortion? Edit: For those downvoting: There's other articles that specifically say this. Sure, the man has to acknowledge paternity but it doesn't have to be proven. Look it up.

I distinctly remember the song Redneck Crazy (he shows up at her house and throws empty beer cans at her window where she's cheating) being shamed as "too violent" while 2 Black Cadillacs (the wife and the mistress literally murder the cheating husband) is a song of female empowerment. There is a definite double standard.
/r/MensRights10/02/21 09:54 PM
2

They definitely do. Even though I had already told them no at least 3 times, as well as twice during the actual labor, they tried to sneak the paperwork into all the other stuff I had to sign like the eye and ear tests. I showed my fiancé and he just shook his head. I wanted to tear it up and throw it in their face. They had to give me a separate poster to sign confirming I DIDN'T want it done.

It's so fucking gross. I know a woman who they didn't even ask, they literally just came in and said "okay it's time for his circumcision" and she was 16 and didn't know any better. So sad.

When I was pregnant with my son I went into false labor 4 times and they asked me every. Single. Time. If I was going to have it done. I finally responded with "no, I'm not mutilating my son, thanks." It's not my body, not my choice. Why don't more people, especially women, understand this?!

I respectfully disagree. The way that society treats men and their mental health is detrimental. It's the reason why men are far more likely to commit suicide than women, because instead of helping them get the resources they need, society tells them they're weak and need to man up. Sure, people have the prerogative to think and feel whatever they want about mental health. People have the prerogative to think that pedophilia is okay too, but that doesn't mean it's right or deserving of a place i…

Right? Like, "you literally almost lost your life fighting for this country, but nah, you need to man up" hold on, I rolled my eyes so hard they stuck to the ceiling.
/r/MensRights04/02/21 10:24 PM
14

That's great, I'm so happy that you're taken care of. I've heard nothing but horror stories from my best friend who has to fight tooth and nail to get his dad the benefits he deserves as a Vietnam vet. He was literally told that his dad's diabetes and other health problems were not caused by his time in the army and therefore he didn't qualify for benefits.
/r/MensRights04/02/21 10:13 PM
6

I also think that the dismissive language used by OP's aunt is harmful and shouldn't be used in any situation. Even if a veteran were a guest in my home, if they asked me to turn down the sounds of a firefight because it's triggering for them, I would. Anyone who told that veteran they're "too soft" and "overreacting" would get a one way ticket out of my house, no matter what gender they were. We don't tell female rape victims they're "too soft" if, for instance, a fictional depiction of rape in…

Thank you for your service, and I'm so sorry that your mental health is not taken seriously.
/r/MensRights04/02/21 10:05 PM
6

Yeah if the situation were different I'd be more on the fence, but like you said it's literally OP's house that cousin is staying at, presumably rent-free. Also sometimes it's not that easy to get treatment... the US's veteran's programs are notoriously bullshit. My best friend's dad is a Vietnam vet with a myriad of health problems including diabetes caused by agent orange and he had to fight tooth and nail to get his dad the benefits he's entitled to.
/r/MensRights04/02/21 09:11 PM
9

I disagree, it's OP's house and the cousin is staying there rent free. Notice in the post OP says "my mom called to tell me that my cousin was going to be staying with me"... cousin is the one acting entitled. It's literally the least they could do to accommodate the person whose house they are intruding upon. Either play with headphones or play with the volume completely off, you really don't need sound for an FPS.
/r/MensRights04/02/21 09:08 PM
14

If you read to the end of the post, it was actually the OP's aunt who told him those things. His cousin was the one playing the game but the cousin's mom is the one who belittled OP's mental health.
/r/MensRights04/02/21 07:59 PM
40

Might not be the correct flair but I didn't see a "mental health" one so I chose the closest thing. THIS IS WHY MEN COMMIT SUICIDE AT A MUCH HIGHER RATE THAN WOMEN. Men's mental health needs to be taken more seriously!
/r/MensRights04/02/21 07:38 PM
3

I think it's also to protect the identity of the poster, I've seen it a lot where posts from subs like AmITheAsshole ends up on the front page and even though the OP used fake names, someone from their life ends up seeing it and recognizing the situation.

I stand by this. I've been raped twice. I mean like, without a doubt, forced. I've also had a few times that I maybe drank a bit too much and had sex someone I maybe wouldn't have if I was sober. Did I wake up the next day kicking myself? Probably. Did I call I rape because "I was too drunk" when the guy was probably as drunk as or even more than me? Hell no. And it's bitches who DO think that regret=rape that are literally the reason the two assholes who actually forced me have never seen a day…

I'm a woman, but I go on there when I want to give myself a headache from face palming so many times. Sometimes when I'm really down on myself (depression/anxiety) it makes me feel a tiny bit better to know I'm not as depraved as those crazy bitches are.

Not so fun fact: Phimosis is incorrectly diagnosed wayyyyyy more often than we realize due to misinformation about an intact penis. A lot of doctors still believe that the foreskin should fully retract from the glans (head) by age 5 or so when in fact, it can stay fused until puberty or sometimes even longer. These poor boys are told they have phimosis and either given steroid cream or just straight up cut. This misinformation becomes a vicious cycle because the parent tries to pull back the ski…

As a woman who has the reverse of this happen, you're probably right... my ex refused to go down on me even if I was fresh out of the shower because he "didn't like the texture" but yet he still expected blow jobs and ughhhh sometimes the stink was just 🤮

She raped him. He consented to sex thinking that she was on birth control, she lied to him about the circumstances that he consented to. That is rape, just like if a man takes off the condom without telling the woman. This is coming from a woman who was raped twice.

Satan punishes the bad people. Not really a bad dude if you think about it, in the Bible it's God who kills everyone, I think Satan only kills like 6 people.

I saw that, came straight here looking for a discussion on it. It's literally circumcision. My beautiful son was perfect just as he was born, just like every girl and boy, but yet I still had other moms questioning my decision to leave him whole. Why is it anyone's business what my baby's genitals look like?!
/r/MensRights24/12/19 05:52 PM
6

Right, and anyone who advocates against it is "crazy" with "nothing better to do" and "too much time on their hands" because "no one actually cares". Or my favorite, boohoo, women have it worse.
/r/MensRights21/11/19 07:00 AM

It almost always leaves a scar. All the cut guys I've been with had one.

Someone literally said "MY child, MY choice" but won't respond when asked how she would feel if her father decided to remove her clitoral hood. Someone else said the parent OWNS the child (and his penis) until 18. Like... what the actual fuck.

I'm the red commenter. Every. Single. Person who said "it's the parent's choice" was female. So disgusting that we demand. bodily autonomy while simultaneously depriving our sons of it.

What I did find multiple sources saying was that it's very hard to track the actual amount because it's more likely that it'll be chalked up to bleeding out or reaction to anesthesia. I think that's absolutely ridiculous and if anything proves that there's ulterior motives to covering it up.

Wow, you're really reaching there buddy.
/r/MensRights10/03/19 02:30 AM

As of yet I haven't found anything that backs up those numbers, but I did find individual news articles. In my opinion, even one death caused by an unnecessary surgery is too many.

Then let him make the decision later in life. There's no age limit, it can be done at any time.
/r/MensRights10/03/19 02:20 AM

If a kid is old enough to have sex, he's old enough to decide for himself if he wants to get circumcised. Likewise, children don't typically get penile cancer. Finally, if he's taught how to clean properly, he won't get a UTI. None of your arguments have any weight over the fact that it should be his body, his choice. Removing breast tissue/mammary glands pretty much 100% guarantee a female won't get breast cancer, why don't people advocate for mastectomies on infant girls?
/r/MensRights10/03/19 02:18 AM

I didn't get mine done until I was 12! And that was mostly cause my two older sisters (16 and 20 at the time) had gotten theirs done and I threw a fit lol
/r/MensRights09/03/19 10:17 PM
6

Wow, I was trying to be civil but you're just an asshole. I asked you specifically about removing the breast tissue of an infant girl and you ignored it in your response, so I politely prompted you to answer. I hope you never have kids if that's your mentality.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 04:43 PM
3

I saw your post, very insightful! That's something that worries me, them mutilating him even though I specifically said not to. I just won't let my son out of my or my fiance's sight.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 04:15 PM

Also I think she mentioned that her husband/my uncle is circumcised, so that probably played into her decision.

Thankfully he's around ten years old now so it doesn't seem to have caused him issues. Hopefully the same can be said when he becomes sexually active, I've heard that some boys have too much cut off and it makes erections agonizingly painful.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 09:11 AM
6

Technically I have a beautiful 5 year old girl who chose to call me mommy 2 years ago (fiance's daughter), but I didn't give birth to her so I say this boy is my first lol but she's as much my daughter as this little guy is my son! I love her with all my heart and I can't wait to see what an amazing big sister she's going to be ☺
/r/MensRights09/03/19 08:33 AM
7

Can you answer the question I asked in my edit please?
/r/MensRights09/03/19 08:28 AM
8

...what? My fiancé and I have already talked about it. He's intact as well and would never advocate for a needless surgery on his precious boy. We both believe that it should be his choice later in life.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 08:27 AM
8

You should let your future son make the choice when he's an adult. It can be done at any time, there's no age cutoff. Edit: If your mother had chosen to remove your breast tissue as an infant because breast cancer runs in your family, don't you think that would be wrong? Especially since you could choose to have that done as an adult?
/r/MensRights09/03/19 07:41 AM
8

If it's your body, your choice, why would you give someone else (regardless if it's your husband) the power to allow an irreversible surgery on your son?
/r/MensRights09/03/19 07:30 AM
3

Kinda reminds me of the people who voted for Trump and were surprised when their undocumented relatives were deported.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 07:28 AM

The best (worst?) part I just remembered is that my aunt said she hates when people pierce their baby girl's ears... in the same conversation where she told me she circumcised my cousin...
/r/MensRights09/03/19 06:23 AM
3

Jeez, yeah I plan on being with my son at all times at least during the first few months. Maybe let my mom or older sister watch him once or twice. IDK, he's my first so I'm probably going to be really over protective lol
/r/MensRights09/03/19 04:50 AM
3

Welp now I'm going to be even more careful that my son is never alone at the hospital.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 04:35 AM
13

Not my body, not my choice. I wish more people realized this. I'm sorry for what happened to you.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 04:04 AM
7

I'm also just against irreversible procedures done on non consenting individuals. For instance, if I were having a daughter I wouldn't get her ears pierced as a baby. I would wait until she's old enough to understand and ask if she wants it done.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 04:00 AM
10

Because it's an unnecessary surgery done on an infant that can cause complications and even death.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 03:52 AM

You're a fucking idiot. Good riddance.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 03:35 AM

WTF is wrong with you?
/r/MensRights09/03/19 03:34 AM

Why do people care so much about what a young boys dick looks like?
/r/MensRights09/03/19 03:33 AM
11

Or, you know, no one will care because circumcision is a barbaric practice that is slowly but surely dying out...
/r/MensRights09/03/19 03:33 AM
11

LMFAO! Female MRA?! Yes, we do exist! Anyway, it wasn't even a choice, TBH. It's not my choice to make. If my son wants to do it later in life that's up to him.

Literally never said that and you still haven't responded to the 117 infant deaths by circumcision but whatever. Gtfo off a men's rights sub if you're not about men's rights.

Sure, and there's no problem with it because adult women choose to do it, you don't see people removing infant girls breast tissue.

Just gonna put this here for you again since you ignored it the first time... About 117 infant boys die from circumcision in the US each year. That's more than SIDS, and that's a problem.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 02:52 AM

Damn, our education system sucks lol well there ya go. If you have a son someday please don't let them do this to him.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 02:49 AM

Yep. Unfortunately it's usually reported that the cause of death was blood loss, stroke, or reactions to anesthesia... none of which would have happened if the surgery hadn't been done in the first place. So idiots like that troll can flap their mouths and say its totally safe when it's really not. Out of curiosity, are you female? And possibly from Europe or something? It's just odd to me that you haven't heard of it.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 02:46 AM

Oh. Well, if you look at an intact penis you'll see that there's a little bit of skin that folds over the head, that's the foreskin. Circumcision is the practice of removing that bit of skin from an infant boy, usually when he's around a week or 2 old, with or without anesthesia. I have always been against it but just tonight thanks to some dumb troll at the bottom of this post, I found out that approximately 117 boys die from this each year in the US, which is more deaths than Sudden Infant Dea…

I stayed civil with you so I really don't appreciate the insults. The multiple comments was because I actually had to look it up for you. You're still ignoring the first article I posted which states more boys die from circumcision than SIDS. If that's "stupid shit" then I seriously hope you don't have any kids.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 02:33 AM

What do you mean? You've never heard of circumcision before? Not being snarky just legit don't understand your question.

https://www.doctorsopposingcircumcision.org/for-professionals/complications/ There. There's three total links for you, even though according to that article "There is no nationwide, standardized, prospective system in the United States or Canada for collecting data on circumcision complications in children, not even for the most serious outcomes. Therefore, no one actually knows how many babies require re-hospitalization, intravenous antibiotics, or a blood transfusion; how many lose all or part…

Literally no one dies from it, huh? "...approximately 117 neonatal deaths due directly or indirectly to circumcision occur annually in the United States, or one out of every 77 male neonatal deaths. This compares with 44 neonatal deaths from suffocation, 8 in automobile accidents and 115 from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome." More baby boys die from circumcision than SIDS! 117 infant deaths per year due to a totally unnecessary surgery. They lectured me about SIDS, making sure I have the proper sle…

That's exactly what I said to my mom today! We were talking about the conversation I had with my aunt/her sister and I made that point. Thankfully my mom considers it barbaric just like I do.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 02:05 AM
2

It was a female nurse doing an "at home circumcision". The mother should absolutely be held accountable for allowing unnecessary surgery to be performed on her infant at home.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 02:04 AM
4

And yes, actually, a completely unnecessary surgery done only on infant boys is absolutely men's rights. The initial reason for circumcision was to make masturbation less pleasurable, and FGM is rightfully considered barbaric when done for religious reasons in third world countries, so why is male genital mutilation defended? I'm sure you would be "just fine" if you hadn't been circumcised as well. There's literally no good reason to remove a body part from an infant who can't consent.
/r/MensRights09/03/19 02:02 AM
2

Nope, the mom decided to drop the charges. Which IMO is absolutely bonkers, but she probably would've been held accountable too.

I'm glad your parents were smart enough to realize there's no need for it! I fully intend on empowering my son. He will not be pushed down by a society that for whatever reason believes you have to oppress men in order to lift up women. He will be taught to respect all people (who deserve it) regardless of gender, not because of it. It's going to be a bit easier because my fiancé is like minded, occasionally I'll tell him about articles I see on here and he has the same reaction I do. Our little…

Definitely have heard about that! I'm going to let my fiancé do most of the teaching once our little dragon is old enough, just because he has first hand experience, but I'm not sure when is safe to start letting him pull it back. One of my exes had complications with his to where he couldn't pull it back as an adult because he never did as a child so I'll be sure to research it. And yeah, she tried to tell me about diseases and stds and such but I stopped her. She's the kind of feminist who bel…

As a woman in the US who has experienced both, WHY? How? In what way?! And not only that but I'd bet that these same women will get pissed if you say they look better with makeup on. They're shaming guys for a fucking surgery they didn't have as a child and has an insane amount of complications especially if done in adulthood... just cause their conceited self-entitled selves decide they like it better... honestly, how fucking dare they?? Besides, intact guys are usually more sensitive which is …

She didn't have sex with them. She raped them. If the story were about a 24 year old man and a 16 year old girl, it would say raped. Fucking double standards. And I say this as a female and a two time rape survivor.

I'm a female and I've never felt unwelcome here. Really the only comments I've seen downvoted are either feminazi trolls and occasionally I do see the other side, men who are actually sexist, but they get shut down pretty quickly. This sub isn't about hating on women, it's just about bringing attention to injustices and calling out "toxic feminism". I'm sure you'll be just fine :)

I so agree with all of that. I wish there was a way to implement it. He even paid child support last month when we had her the entire time! It's crazy... but really, I actually wouldn't even care and I know he wouldn't either if he got to see his daughter more. As it is, he goes to work right before she gets dropped off and then comes home at 4 or 5 so he doesn't get to see her at all except that every other weekend. I call him throughout the day so he can at least talk to her but it's not the s…

I don't have a response to all of the points you made, and I actually agree with most of what you said, but I do want to say: I see my boyfriend, an amazing father and a great person, paying a ridiculous amount in child support and we only got his daughter every other weekend. This changed last week to where now I watch her from 6am-3pm on weekdays. So we have her almost 50% of the time, but he has to walk on eggshells around her mother so he hasn't even brought up lowering the amount yet. To to…

The Patriarchy: Where a woman can rape an underage boy and it's called "sexual relations"...and she'll most likely get off scott-free because of people who say shit like "hurr durr if my hot high school teacher wanted to have sex with me I'd be grateful!" Then you have the people (mostly women) commenting "innocent until proven guilty!!" when if the genders were reversed, there would be public outcry even if the man is found innocent in a court of law. But yet... women are oppressed because guys…

The takeaway here is YOU got it done. You had a choice, and you chose to have the procedure. That's fine, just like women who have their breasts removed to prevent cancer. Their choice. But I hope that if you have a son you do not take that choice away from him.

Female here... been with both cut and uncut men fairly recently. All the arguments for it are ridiculous, grasping for straws. The guy I'm with right now is uncut and he's soooo much more sensitive than like, say, my ex, who was cut. Selfishly, it's better for me that way, because him having a heightened sensitivity is a huge turn on. One of my exes who was cut wasn't clean. Being cut doesn't automatically make you better at washing your junk. You still have to care about personal hygiene. To an…

As a female survivor whose attacker was never even put to trial, this is BULLSHIT. I hate the false accusers almost as much as much as I hate the monster who stole my virginity. It's because of THEM that he didn't have to stand trial, because of the sheer number of bitches who do this sort of thing. I can't fucking believe this, that comment thread makes my blood boil.

As a female rape victim (as in, I said no, and he carried me inside his house against my will), I am appalled by this. Yes, I'll admit that I've felt regret immediately following sex once or twice. Is that equivalent to the horrible crime that was committed against me? FUCK NO. I wish these so called "feminists" would stop doing this. They are making others not take REAL rape seriously, and, like in my case, causing the criminal to walk free.
