I think pre democracy conscription was indeed enforced on men by powerful men. So really, in the past I don't think it was missndry the defining force behind conscription. The powerful didn't really hate men, but more of poor men. Nowadays however, in democratic countries, the voters also hold responsibility for such decisions by choosing their representatives. This way, voting for certain people can definetly be linked to misandry. Apathy towards this problem is also misandry.

The idea of "internalized" mysandry, or rather the most commonly used "internalized misoginy" is infantilizing.
