After a breakup, person A immediately jumps into a relationship with B they know wasn’t their first choice, but the timing is right, and they’re just looking for someone to fill the void. The new B partner feels like the second-best option because they were just there to help them get over someone else (the old rebound. The term exists because its common) Other example? Someone flirts heavily with Person A, tries to pursue them, maybe even sleeps with them. When A isn’t interested or it fizzles …

Can you point to where I ever said anything about someone’s partner’s looks in any of my posts? Because I didn’t. The only one making assumptions here is you. OP asked a specific question, and you misunderstood the point then kept insisting based on that misinterpretation Again: being the first choice means being chosen above others and not being a backup when the relationship begins, it’s not about looks or having a past.

That’s not even the question being asked. No one is saying you can’t have exes or past crushes, people move on, things don’t work out, and that’s completely normal. The actual question is about not being someone’s first choice. I’ve already explained the difference, and so have others, but some people keep pretending not to get it. What exactly is so hard to understand?

Not being the first choice means they wanted someone else more, but you were still good enough when that didn’t work out. No one is questioning whether you were someone’s first crush, childhood love, or first boyfriend or girlfriend. I honestly don’t get why you’re being so obtuse about it. People who can’t grasp this concept arent bright or just don’t understand how real life works.

Ok but sex life is not realistic. If you see commentary of us women, we all know that the show was trashy and only good to see attractive people banging. It's bases on a book that is slightly different, but still a bit bizarre - but a shared kink of the author and bf.

I'm a woman and I agree with you. This Topic is weird and not all women are like that. I suppose many women though, have the mentality of simply getting a partner and thats what they are meant for. Its quite disheartening.

The answers are lmao blaming OP. I'd not even sure this story is true though. Anyway... Theres some instances but they aren't common.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
