I mean, you also don't see women celebrating that there's more women being secretaries or baby sitters. Men and women both have stereotypical low paying jobs.

But you realize she's not an idiot, there's obviously many men who are vocal about how bad rape is. The argument is more that the actual rapists aren't the only problem, it's everyone making it socially okay to rape (even when they're not trying to).

What's toxic about it? They're saying a lot of men are part of the problem (not all). Hell, I know I've been part of the problem and many men in my life have been as well. I think the first comment in it is spot on.

That's an interesting study! It seems pretty good, although the fact that they had more disagreements in classification than the number of false reports should be good evidence that there are very few false reports. And okay, so at most about 10% of rape accusations are false. And only about 23% of rapes yield in any accusation, so for every 100 times someone is raped there is about 2 false reports. If you're fighting against false reports, but not against rape I think you're fighting the wrong …

What do you mean why would they? Probably for the same reason someone might report on true accusations. It's news. I can only see 2%, I'm not sure where you're getting 2-10%. And sure, that's how math and statistics work, there's going to be variance from the average (although over 10x difference seems unlikely). There are also places with 0% false accusations.

False accusations are rare, and even true accusations can often go unheard or without justice. If you're doing what you're supposed to be doing as a decent human being, you have no need for concerns about a false accusation.

I just found a source, I don't think 2000 was terribly long ago. One of the sources you shared there is from 1970... 54.7% represents a roughly equal share, especially since (at least in America) about 7.5% of families have a single mother and about 1.5% of families have a single father. It's more common to have a mother than a father, so it would make sense if there are more deaths at the hands of mothers. The claims you are stating here. You wrote down these statements, claiming things. They are now your claims as well. My source has two links to state issues reports, both report about 45% of inmates have single parents and 45% grew up with both parents (and about 10% other). You're absolutely right, these are examples of correlation but probably not causation. And to act like the only person in a young man's life is their mother is ridiculous. Not to mention that a woman raised in a patriarchal society could still pass on toxic masculinity to her children.
