Sure, most rape is from a man you know personally. I don't think it's always to tell who will rape you until they do, and unless you want people to cut ties with a huge amount of their family it's not always possible to not associate with someone who might rape you. That's an interesting study! It seems pretty good, although the fact that they had more disagreements in classification than the number of false reports should be good evidence that there are very few false reports. And okay, so at most about 10% of rape accusations are false. And only about 23% of rapes yield in any accusation, so for every 100 times someone is raped there is about 2 false reports. What do you mean why would they? Probably for the same reason someone might report on true accusations. It's news. I can only see 2%, I'm not sure where you're getting 2-10%. And sure, that's how math and statistics work, there's going to be variance from the average (although over 10x difference seems unlikely). There are also places with 0% false accusations.

False accusations are rare, and even true accusations can often go unheard or without justice. If you're doing what you're supposed to be doing as a decent human being, you have no need for concerns about a false accusation.

I just found a source, I don't think 2000 was terribly long ago. One of the sources you shared there is from 1970... 54.7% represents a roughly equal share, especially since (at least in America) about 7.5% of families have a single mother and about 1.5% of families have a single father. "Maybe I'm just uninformed." I mean our (American) society is so for circumcision, I can't say I blame anyone for not understanding the issues with circumcision.
