You may different, but for most men it can happen for little more reason then it brushed up against something. I remember high school it happened for no reason whatsoever and trust me I was embarrassed by it. I tried to cover it, there was nothing but fear and it still happened.

In most places child support doesn't take into account spouses income or martial status. It gets cut off when the child turns 18 and sometime 21 depending on the state. There also some strange things such as imputed income, if I owned a business making $250k a year and I purposely shut it down (or the judge thinks I did) to screw my wife they can impute an income of $250k for the purpose of calculating child support.

Veterans disability is different from normal disability and is immune to all garnishment including child support. The way child support gets around it is they seize bank accounts which are not immune so veterans have to immediately withdraw benefits to prevent them from being taken. Depending on how often they seize an account a vet may lose a couple checks a year. Vets used to just cash the checks but I think the government now requires auto deposit which requires a bank account.

I feel like regardless of the federal law, how does a judge justify taking away money from a disabled vet and giving it to a non-disabled spouse that could work. where at least some helpless kid might get the money I don't think you know how child support works.

Ask yourself is it in the best interest of the child to have the father living in poverty and thus the children living in poverty when they are with him? The court does things and justifies it as in the best interest of the child but they only do this in situations where it benefits women. When you get married your husbands income becomes your income and it directly affects you and your children's quality of life.

The situation is reversed and she makes 4k a month and he makes 1.2k a month and he still has to pay her $450 a month. She lives in luxury and he lives in poverty. Why? because dogs get more sympathy then men.

How about the next time we as a group find something you believe in unreasonable? "The Klan says some vile and vicious and nasty and ugly things, but the Klan has a right to say them. If you ask whether they have a right to organize, to assemble, to free speech, those people we hate have such a right, and we just can't get around that. Because if you take away their rights, you take away my rights also" - Griffin ACLU

Don't confuse personal liberty with equality under the law. As a private business owner I should have the right to refuse service to anyone, anytime, for any reason. Including reasons you find distasteful. The minority beliefs and the right to exercise those rights on private property need to be protected from the majority even if those beliefs are morally reprehensible.

Interestingly the Gates foundation gave money to fund a female version of this method. Apparently giving men control over their reproduction is dangerous we could lie to women and tell them we had it done.

That is like saying most murders are committed by men so anti-murder laws are targeted at men. It's targeted against those who buy sex. It would be different if you had an example of a female john not being prosecuted, that would be a men's rights issue.

Seems reasonable in longer marriages to split everything 50/50. If there is no alimony this might actually be better than some US divorce law where you have to give 50% of everything and 30% of your income till you die.

Except that we require it in other areas. When my mother received social security benefits there was only predetermined stuff she could spend the money on. She had to keep records to prove it was actually spent on the child. Now it was a pain in the ass but was there to protect the children and make sure it was being used on the children. The truth is we will never do that because child support is actually spouse support.

Perhaps your wife should grow up and stop being a selfish bitch and actually care about her child's well being and get the father equally involved in the child's life and stop viewing the father as nothing but a piggy bank.

To be clear you didn't read the article. Second paragraph down I even included the quote in the title. Seriously how retarded do you have to be. Oh and how is this men's rights issue? Family court judges doing whatever they want for whatever reason they want. A majority of family judges think it is in the best interest of the child to be with the mother instead of the father or whatever retarded logic they use.

I was assuming that most of the people who use online dating do so for a relationship rather than one night stands or just something to do on a weekend which was probably an incorrect assumption.

The people who use online dating are flawed or have some other attribute that prevents them from meeting people in real life. For women this might be they are obese, for men they might be socially inept. If they didn't have a problem they would have found someone in real life already and wouldn't be using online dating.

They believe women are helpless victims and are unable to make proper discussions for themselves and men are waiting at every corner to take advantage of this and lure them with shiny objects. The irony that feminists believe women should be equal but in everything they do make them seem like helpless morons who can't make basic common sense decisions.

When judges decide to give mother with felonies a second chance at custody and take it away from the father just because it is in the best interest of the child to know their mother...best interest of the child is just a way of saying I do whatever the fuck I want.

Then it sounds like you have a lawsuit for false arrest and forced entry (if they did enter your house) did they have warrant or did they tell you the probably cause? Contrary to popular belief the police cannot just arrest you and hold you for any period of time without probably cause / arrest warrant or it is false arrest. Furthermore child neglect is not a felony so they are only allowed to hold you long enough to identify you. The whole situation seems strange and if what you are saying is t…

What I don't understand is how they arrested you or how they entered your home. You are under no obligation to let a child protective services social worker into your house. No government agent of any type is allowed to enter your home without your permission unless they have a warrant. My statement still stands he was a moron for pleading guilty when he was innocent and if he did have a lawyer he was probably the worst lawyer ever. prosecutor is only supposed to bring charges in the first place if there is a "moral certainty" of guilt To my knowledge their role is to prosecute someone accused of committing a crime to the full extent of the law. The prosecutor did his job, the defense attorney did not. Would you have plead guilty if you were in his situation?
/r/MensRights05/04/13 06:50 PM

If there was zero physical evidence any good lawyer would be able to get him off. Remember this is not civil court the burden of proof is on the prosecutor. I was accused in a he said she said case when I was younger and just asking simple questions of the accuser she had to think and hesitate. She even passed on on a question she didn't know the answer to. -What was the configuration of the room? -Was he uncircumcised? -What did his penis look like? -Were his pubs long or short? -Any birth mark…

No prenup is iron clad. There are many reasons it can be voided for example if the judge feels you give her too little and it is unfair it could be considered unconscionable and voided.

We don't know what makes up a false positive in that statistic. For all I know they could have failed control questions or failed contradictory questions. Are you a spy? Failed. So you are not a spy? Failed Obviously one of these is true but they were shown to be lying on both.
/r/MensRights14/03/13 01:37 PM

What is wrong with those statements?
/r/MensRights13/03/13 08:16 PM
3

Correct that is why it can't be used as evidence in court but it is very useful to the police to eliminate the innocent people as suspects. Thus, roughly 99.6 percent of positives (those failing the test) would be false positives http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polygraph#Validity

Instead of aggressive prosecution of false rape allegations which discourages people from reporting it wouldn't it be better to protect the target of these allegations from getting their life ruined in the first place? I like the idea of protecting the identity of the alleged attacker until convicted better than prosecuting false rape claims.
/r/MensRights13/03/13 06:06 PM
3

While false positives (those who fail) are very high (99% failure rate) it is useful for screening out innocent people. The number of negatives (those who pass) is much more accurate (10% failure rate).

This is perfect explanation. Women like being looked at and feeling attractive as long as it is not someone who they define as a creeper.

aren't the chances of being raped by a stranger lower than being raped by someone you know? Correct, I heard that statistic also. Dress tends to have little to do with it I would think age, skin color, and dress would all factor into an anonymous attacker deciding to choose you but I have no statistical proof of that.
/r/MensRights14/01/13 06:47 PM

we are also sending a message that it's totally understandable that someone could not control their urge to steal when it would be so easy to mug that person False Dichotomy - If the victim does share some of the responsibility because they made a stupid decision that does not mean the attacker doesn't have any responsibility. As a result, that person might be less likely to change their behavior which led them to mugging someone. I would tend to doubt that people protecting themselves from atta…

I am always torn with this because she should be able to walk around wearing what she wants and not get attacked/ robbed / raped but she can't so if she does walk around in something / someplace knowing this then she seems to be at the very least stupid and at the worst partially responsible.

Move to a different country like Thailand or the Philippines (the only two I have visited) it will blow your mind how different women can be. It is only distorted in western countries most countries have a more accurate view on the nature of relationships and attractions.

The idea is that if enough men say no and refuse to get married or procreate eventually someone will stand up and say something is wrong. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704409004576146321725889448.html Relatively affluent, free of family responsibilities, and entertained by an array of media devoted to his every pleasure, the single young man can live in pig heaven—and often does. And what do you think about walking away? Have you tried it? Yes and I was single and celibate for 20 years using this method. Women like having sex and if they really want it With good looking or rich guys yes. Most of the women I have had relationship with want to be pursued, it is the game of courting. Unless I get a hard no you are a creep get away from me.

accept a woman's decision when she says "no" If I did this I would never get any, most women say no (unless you look like brad pitt) and you have to work hard to get them to say yes. Convincing someone to say yes (through flowers, gifts, attention, jokes) after saying no is not rape.

Maybe... but my niece played with "boy" toys growing up and loved sports, basketball, etc. and nobody thought twice My nephew was caught playing with dolls and my brother in law freaked out and took it away from him, he was angry at his wife for letting him play with a doll. While there is a genetic aspect to this there is also a societal pressure to fit a certain model that is not there for girls.
