She’s going to keep you hooked on reconciliation until she builds enough leverage to flip the story on you, paint you black and run a smear campaign while at it. This point should be the most careful you should ever be, pay attention to all her actions, never react, make sure you document everything. Video, audio everything. It could save your life, literally

Of course because you love her with your whole heart and she’s aware

”Date, date, date. The best thing I did for myself was to have multiple short term relationships. It made me realize my ex wasn’t special at all, and also people get attracted to each other and sick of each other very fast, within 3-4 months, so it’s no wonder that me and my ex got sick of each other after 20 years” This is the part that I always try to open the eyes of many here to, your ex or stbx is not special, your new one isn’t either, stop pedastalising them by thinking “oh I’m so lucky …

She’s really just an ordinary human, having the mindset that you’re lucky to find her will lock you into pedestalizing her, which is a slippery slope towards her eventually treating you like a fan. That mentality never ends well. A word is enough for the wise

Nice story, but this part got me “I got pretty lucky to find her imho.” This is not a good ideology to have about your partner, it’s scarcity mindset and will not lead you anywhere good.

What kind of an advice is this??? What’s wrong with men on reddit, are all of you this eternal pushovers? Christ

This is exactly the same reason why 100% of the men in this group are always cheated on and divorced by their wives. All of you lack emotional independence. Even if you marry another one she’d still leave you because you need her more, and women can smell this need from a mile away. When will you men ever learn

My good man, she’s poking and prodding you for reactive abuse. She wants you to react, please keep your cool and ensures she leaves the house as soon as possible. Thank you

Thank you so much for finally saying this truth the way it is. Every time I come across a post from men on this group, I’m reminded of how much majority of the men don’t want to accept this simple reality. They keep making the same mistakes over and over, and then come here to whine

The next heartbreak will hit like crack buddy. You are clearly not healed and lack the level of self awareness to even see it.

Not to be that guy but you sincerely need women too much. It’s been just one year and she’s already your entire peace, all the talk about universe. Just give it more time good sir

What are you doing in Divorce men when you are not even a man??
/r/Divorce_Men29/03/26 07:39 AM

Yup, marriage does do that. Which is why it is necessary you maintain some level of emotional anchor with your own personal friends. Men should learn to not sign away all their personal relationships for the one created jointly with their partners.

It doesn’t matter, you’re drowning in that marriage. Save yourself first, you will build another community. Put yourself first, if the reverse was the case, she’d do same.

She’s already cheating on you, trying to get you to end things so the blame can be on you for breaking the family. Classic women move once they start cheating. It’s over for you dude, get ready for the shit storm and prepare for the inevitable. All the best

It’s product of smear campaigns. It’s very hard to believe but all women pre smear their partners most of the time, lol. And then after the end of the marriage they intensify the smear campaigns. Cut those people off, anyone who wouldn’t reach out to hear your side, was never your friend. Cut them off and move on.

For what it’s worth. I’m very happy for you, but it must be said that you should prioritize healing and moving on alone. If I were you, I’d go the next 2 years learning how to be happy and self sustaining ALONE! You are falling into the trap of falling into the Bs of another woman, putting her on a pedestal and thinking that she’s perfect. Then using her as an emotional anchor, this type of behavior leads to a situation like the one you are in, some years later. Focus on yourself, your only true…

Once a woman has had an affair, you can never ever come back from that. I don’t know why men don’t get this simple maths. An affair from a woman brings to an end all forms of respect she had for the spouse. Taking her back will never ever ever ever work afterwards. I’m sorry you had to go through this. May you find your peace. I hope other men learn this too

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
