Feminists throws a fit at the notion that children do better with a father figure in their lives.A fair enough point, I suppose it really depends on the angle you look at it. And to add onto your point, a deviation from normal could be seen as good or bad. I mean gemstones certainly aren't 'normal' rocks, but that doesn't mean your wife would prefer a granite ring. | /r/MensRights | 23/04/14 03:12 AM
Feminists throws a fit at the notion that children do better with a father figure in their lives. The problem with this is that by considering heterosexuality "normal", you're calling homosexuality and bisexuality "abnormal". In reality, they're both perfectly normal, hetereosexuality is simply more common. | /r/MensRights | 23/04/14 01:50 AM
Undergrad mature student (female) asking Reddit family for help in questionnaire research. I am trying to display evidence that men are negatively focused on and discriminated in allegations of sexual harm against children. Please fill out my questionnaire and I will be very grateful. Happy 2014.In addition to everything that's already been brought up, I draw issue with the description "Trying to display evidence that ________". If you're doing research, you SHOULD NOT be going into it with the intention of proving/disproving any one side. Your job as a researcher is NOT to do provide research to support anything. The job of a researcher is to examine the data and report what you find, objectively, without any investment to any aspect or portion of the data. | 1 | 19yo man gets raped by 4 women, cops say "it is not completely unusual for a male to be the victim of a sexual assault”I do find that this subreddit is particularly bad for it though. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/13 09:23 PM
19yo man gets raped by 4 women, cops say "it is not completely unusual for a male to be the victim of a sexual assault”We don't have any archaic "unwanted penetration" definition of rape here in Canada. We have sexual assault, which is "sexual contact with another person without that other person's consent". Its a much better definition which allows for much more gender equality. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/13 09:04 PM
19yo man gets raped by 4 women, cops say "it is not completely unusual for a male to be the victim of a sexual assault”This sounds like some Rush Limbaugh logic, right here. Sorry man, but its attitudes like this that give MRAs a bad name. We're all in this together, no need to take an antagonistic stance against women or feminists. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/13 08:54 PM
19yo man gets raped by 4 women, cops say "it is not completely unusual for a male to be the victim of a sexual assault”This is actually a very valid point, and you've earned my upvote because of it. I think what's happening here is accidental favoritism in the attempt at showing equality. | /r/MensRights | 09/04/13 08:53 PM
Man exonerated in rape case, accuser admits she lied, yet man still rots in jail due to Attorney GeneralThis really sucks, and I really hope that people focus on the woman who put him there rather than the legal system causing a delayed release. She was a malicious bitch who ruined his life, the system is just there to ensure that everything is 100% cleared before it things follow through. | /r/MensRights | 29/11/12 02:43 AM
