| 1 | Question about herniaI had the surgery last spring. Doctor said 6 week recovery but it was more like 3 months until I felt comfortable lifting again. And it was still pretty uncomfortable at the scar when lifting, I actually thought I may have injured mysekf again at one point. It took me about 6 months until I was able to lift at normal intensity. Definitely don't rush the recovery.
