There was a completely unattractive guy out on the dancefloor (very large and very androgynous looking---I thought he was a very butch lesbian at first). The guy was kicking ass. 1	How do you dance at clubs? Don't overthink it. Listen for the bass and start moving with it. Just a subtle movement of the hips is a good way to start. Main thing: just try and have fun. I (a female) love to dance, and I will always notice a guy who is having fun on the dancefloor. Even better, take salsa dancing lessons. You probably won't get a chance to salsa dance much at a club, but it will increase your confidance and get you used to taking charge of a female and spinning her around where you want her to go.
