Contemplating DivorceYou have no idea how much your message means to me. Thank you for this perspective and honesty - I’m going to take a lot from what you just said moving forward. Appreciate you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/03/24 03:51 PM
Contemplating DivorceI actually even said this is our latest “argument.” It stopped her in her tracks. It’s not my intent to make her feel bad or “one up her” but just trying to gather why she feels the need to party like this. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/03/24 07:45 PM
Contemplating DivorceThis is our next step. Just starting doing the research together and hoping this helps. Biggest thing is that we’ve been communicating a lot lately and she’s well aware that I’m on the verge of leaving. Like I commented else, she’s not the only one that the finger is pointed at. I run my own business and usually consumed with work and when I’m not working my way to unwind is to watch a game or TV, so I’m at fault for not trying to connect with her more and be more present. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/03/24 07:44 PM
Contemplating DivorceThanks for commenting. I should clarify that it’s not every weekend and that she’s not bar hopping usually when she goes out with her friends. The biggest thorn is that the vibe I get is that she would rather hang out with her friends and when she goes out with her friends, she’s usually getting drunk and staying out late. She takes care of herself, so looking good, smelling good, etc is what she always does regardless if she’s going out. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/03/24 07:42 PM
Contemplating DivorceThanks - appreciate your comment. She is a good woman. And I know it takes two to tango, so I know that there are things I could do on my end that would connect us more. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/03/24 07:40 PM
Contemplating DivorceYeah, she’s well aware. Just not sure if it’s worth the time on my end even though she is sweet, talented, beautiful, etc - that’s my struggle. And just not sure if it’s normal to be thinking this or if the writing is on the wall and I’m delaying the inevitable. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/24 10:34 PM
Contemplating DivorceAppreciate you taking the time to respond and provide me with some sage advice. Thank you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/24 10:12 PM

Contemplating DivorceI don’t go out with her ever because I don’t drink and don’t like the environment. Usually, she gets together with girlfriends at someone’s house and will hangout until like 2/3 am. Sometimes she’ll go out and do a girls weekend where I’m assuming she goes bar hopping. Then when she’s home, she’s hungover and sleeping for that Sunday when it’s just us. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/24 07:39 PM
Contemplating DivorceHonestly thought the drinking would strengthen our marriage as I was the one who had issues with it. What it did was “clear the fog” and I began and still am seeing things clearer and clearer. Always thought we could be one of the lucky ones and I’ve shared this with her and we’ve been upfront about it all. Just hard to pull the plug. I’ll leave her the home and everything, but just tired of feeling disconnected. Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/24 07:10 PM
Contemplating DivorceThanks - really appreciate your insight. This is what I’ve been thinking about as well - just feeling sad. Had a lot of good times but that disconnected feeling - I can’t shake. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/24 07:08 PM
