Yes, but just because there’s a financial incentive for the bar, doesn’t excuse the responsibility of the individual. Everyone has their own life to live and their own decisions to make.

Oh I know. I’m just saying there is no need for the bar to be responsible. Everyone should be responsible for their own actions. It’s not over serving, it’s over drinking. It’s not “the bar didn’t call me a cab” it’s “I was the idiot that decided to get behind the wheel drunk and slam into a family of five.” It’s not “I got into a fight because the bar let me drink too much” it’s “I can’t handle my alcohol as much as I thought I could, I won’t drink that much next time.”

It’s no wonder society is become such a toilet. Nobody has common sense anymore, and when their lack of common sense causes an issue, it isn’t counted as learning experience, but is obviously someone else’s fault. Like, how in earth is it a bar’s responsibility to keep track of their several customers? “Hmmmm should I have one more drink before I get into my car and drive home? Ah man, I just can’t decide, I’ll let the bar do that for me.”

I shower daily, wear deodorant, work a sedentary job in an air conditioned office and I STILL smell myself once in a while by the end of the day.

Ah, I see we’re talking about the video the guy described. Read the latter part of my comment. It is a very poorly acted and produced tik tok video. It was not real. I know this happens, but this guy is not calling the cops on anyone because a) it wasn’t real, b) he likely has no involvement in the video and c) if he did have involvement in the video he likely wouldn’t call the cops because it wasn’t real and the woman was likely his wife or friend.

Absolutely. But, if we’re talking about leaving a gas cap open, it’s something that anyone can easily forget and something the cops likely don’t care about. If a cop even pulls you over for it (if he happens to be following you, there’s no way they’re responding to a call on it and trying to track down a single car with their gas cap open), you’re not likely to get a ticket unless you’re a dick.

I really can’t imagine the cops are going to track down and the fine someone for accidentally leaving their gas cap open. They’d maybe give a warning at most if they happened to be following this woman and saw it. Unless you’re talking about the video the person is describing, in which case he or she wasn’t there to report it and it is a very low skilled acting staged tik tok video.

I think too much emphasis gets put on it. Other than high school where the male mind always seems to be in that realm, I’ve never, nor do I ever want to, find out if anyone I meet (friend, family, coworker, stranger ANYONE) is a virgin or not. Why would anyone even care?

What a beautiful insult! Even if it wasn’t meant to be one.

I lost faith in teachers when I got to the age where my peers started becoming teachers. I grew up with three people who became teachers that I never would have guessed would become teachers. I’d be flat out disappointed if my child ever ended up in any of their classes. For that matter, one of them is no longer a teacher. Not sure if she couldn’t hack it or if she didn’t like it. But either way, I’m not surprised.

You can’t even turn an Xbox on unless it wants to be turned on.

I’m more so talking physically. Children would imply that you would have a physical advantage over them. You’re just supporting this teacher with your comment really. Let me tell you how: Physically, they still probably have a bit of growing to do, but it isn’t out of the question for a mid to late teen to physically over take an adult. Secondly, you’re right. Emotionally and mentally they’re nowhere close to adults. Which is why an adult may have a hard time dealing with them because they aren’…

Is your literal job teaching children? Also, these aren’t exactly children as you claim. They’re nearly adults.

Good for you for having life so figured out man. I wish I could be at that place in my life. I can only imagine how nice it must be to be perfect.

Yeah, she shouldn’t be the teacher because of what is likely the one and only time this situation will happen. Got it.

Yep. Easy-peasy. You’ve got it figured out. Good for you man.

Oh yeah, I’m sure that would have gone well for her. She probably would have been able to manhandle that girl. Oh, and the administration probably would have been in full support too. You’re one of those people that know exactly what everyone should do in any given situation. Good for you for being so calm and cool under the pressure of a situation you’ve never been in.

If you were looking to fight someone and in a rage like this girl, I’m willing to bet your mom had no chance of controlling you. MAYBE the only chance she’d have is threat of future punishment, but the teacher doesn’t really have that tool in this case. What’s she going to punish her with? A few days off of school?

Also included in the stats are people who have multiple divorces. I know a guy who has been married and divorced several times. Turns out he’s just a dick. But if I were to guess I think it’s five divorces he’s had, which means that he basically cancels out five long lasting marriages that don’t end in divorce.

My dude. We encounter a ton of gross crap every day that you likely don’t think about. The only reason this is an issue for you is that somebody told you somewhere along the way. Otherwise, you’d never know the difference.
