I don't exactly agree we should vilify his wife or mother or the villagers, remember we're talking about a society that doesn't even have sanitary pads. That's pretty stone age and I'm not sure how long I'd stay with my wife if she suddenly developed a fascination with defecation (for example). It's no kidding that you have to be 10 times better. She's of course a deadbeat, without consequences. what did anyone expect? Oh, and she's pregnant again... not mine... poor guy!
