exactly. maybe I got lucky, but my fiancé does her best to take care of our one month old on nights where I work the next morning. I only work 14 days/month 12hr shifts so she understands. the rest of the time is split but hands down she does waaayyy more than me. understanding, only complains when I’m being a lazy dick, and loves our son like no other. maybe I take that for granted, but I don’t think so
